Super stylish and super cheap. I love it. Look so much nicer than the traditional light switches. No visible screws. The colour is more of a greyish white, so not brilliant horrible white like the others. Gonna buy more for the rest of the house.

You may not have heard of ABB before, but there's a pretty good chance that the electricity coming into your home has come through equipment manufactured by them; the 400/275kV national "supergrid" makes extensive use of ABB equipment, so their mains voltage products ought to be decent quality.This is a 10 amp two-way light switch with a large rocker on the front taking up most of the faceplate. An outer clip-on edge plate hides the fixing screws and provides a neat finish.Some points to note. Firstly, it's quite a deep switch at around 20mm plus wires, so you'll need at least a 25mm deep back box for it; skinny 20mm boxes will need an upgrade.Secondly, the big rocker switch, although nice, blocks access to the screw holes and needs to be pried off, preferably without damaging it! To refit it only goes on one way round as the switching mechanism is slightly offset to one side. This would be far better supplied loose in the bag, for fitting once the plate is fixed in place, and is the reason the review drops a star.Thirdly, the switch has a bit of give from side to side, possibly due to having to be pried off to get at the screw holes!The plate only clips on one way round (hook on at the top, push in at the bottom) and has an ABB logo moulded into the corner, so you can't just turn the switch upside down if it's switching the wrong way. For one-way switching, if you want press-the-top for off, connect your wires to COM and L1.It looks good when installed but please ABB, leave the rocker loose in the bag!

Swapped out my old light switch for the this one, and it’s like upgrading from a clunker to a luxury car. A bit noisy but solid, and looks amazing on the wall. Even my guests noticed it, who compliments a light switch?Worth every penny!

This large switch design light switch comes in a bright white colour with a high gloss finish and looks very smart with its bevelled top and bottom edges. The screws are concealed behind the front panel which is a feature I always prefer over exposed screw tops.The electrical connections to the rear of the switch are all clearly marked as to which cable goes where and the retaining screws are nice and thick so they make an excellent contact and grip of the cables.I would have liked the switch to come with a removeable film layer to protect the high gloss finish from any scratches until it is installed, as the switch I received had a couple of quite noticeable scratches on the front.There is only one thing that I don't like about this switch and that is that the plastic it is manufactured from is very brittle, which makes the switch very noisy in operation. I have several similar design MK brand switches and they are so much quieter.A very smart looking switch that works well, but just a bit noisy in operation.

I received this 2-way, single-gang light switch for free through Bolo Vine to provide an honest and unbiased review.I found everything to be well made and compliant with BSEN60669-1. However, it should be noted that it doesn't have a BS safety kite-mark, which means it hasn't been independently tested for electrical safety. Upon inspection, I couldn't see any reason why it wouldn't pass if tested.The main feature of this switch is that the screws are hidden. You need to pry the faceplate and switch off its clips to access where the screws go in. I connected this to a staircase light and used all the connections. Everything was very solid, and once fitted, it didn't feel any different in quality compared to the light switch I replaced it with.The size of the switch is identical to a regular one. My existing electrical box in the wall and its screw holes had no issue accommodating this new one.I can recommend this as a good switch to buy if you like the style, but I can't award it five stars since it's missing that kite-mark from independent electrical testing.
