Biting the bullet on an expensive toothbrush was one of the best things I've done for my oral care.If you've used cheaper electric toothbrushes then you'll immediately see the improvement in terms of quality, design and feel.Would definitely recommend this.

No, I don't understand the price of this Philips Sonicare 6100 Electric Toothbrush either, at least not the RRP which is ridiculous really and even the current offer price is a bit steep. There's nothing wrong with the toothbrush itself, it isn't my first Philips Sonicare and the last one was also pricey and they've still managed to improve upon it. This one is very powerful and the sonic action really does work but it's surprisingly small and neat. You also get a decent range of supporting features but mostly I don't make much use of them (I already know how to clean my teeth) so slightly resent being asked to pay for them.There's a lightweight and slim carry case included that can hold two brush heads and the whole thing would be excellent for travelling because it's so small and light weight and the battery lasts a decent time. There's a small charging stand which is USB powered, again handy for travelling because one charger will charge everything.You get three brush heads in the pack I got which is good given how much Philips charge for replacements. The provided S2 brush heads are meant for sensitive teeth and they're very small and easy to navigate around your mouth. I'm prone to sensitive gums and these get the teeth clean without any damage or irritation. As a toothbrush it's excellent, but the price makes it a very considered purchase that I'd only consider when it's on special offer.

After using it for a while, I’ve found the toothbrush to be both gentle on my gums and effective at cleaning, thanks to its soft bristles.The battery life has been outstanding, with a single charge lasting long enough that I rarely need to worry about it. The travel case has also been super convenient for trips and it well-designed.The 2 minutes timer is a plus. This Philips Sonicare 6100 Electric Toothbrush is supplied with a case, 3 brush heads, charging base and instruction leaflets. The toothbrush arrived partially charged and required a few hours of additional charging until full. The brushes are easy to attach to the sonic unit by checking for correct orientation and then firmly pushing them on. To remove, they do require a small amount of force to pull them free from the handle unit.All of the items included in this toothbrush set look and feel well made. It is comfortable to hold and easy to operate by using the two push buttons to navigate each of the brushing modes and three level settings. I have been using sonic toothbrushes for a few years now so I already had some idea of what to expect. They do take a few uses to get used to the sensation of brushing with them and it can seem a little strange at first.I am very pleased with the performance of this Sonicare toothbrush and find the battery life to be good and having used it for around two weeks now it hasn’t needed any additional charging. When the brush is placed onto the charging base, providing that it is plugged into a USB-A outlet the light ring at the base of the toothbrush indicates that the charging process is underway with three LED’s providing a visual indication of charging status.I find that this toothbrush does clean very effectively and I have not experienced any discomfort during or after use. I like that the brushes which are included with this toothbrush are the S2 sensitive brushes which are well suited to first time users and those with sensitive teeth/gums. The toothbrush also provides a visual indication if too much pressure is being applied by the user and also when the brush head needs to be replaced.In summary I consider this to be a very good quality sonic toothbrush with some great features which are aimed at helping the user get the best out of this toothbrush. Recommended.

Die neue Generation der Sonicare-Modelle hat sich wirklich verbessert: Die Zahnbürste ist wesentlich leiser bzw. hat einen sehr angenehmen Sound, der Leuchtring für die Andruckkontrolle ist auch gut, außerdem ist sie ein Handschmeichler. Die Reinigungsleistung ist und war schon immer super mit den Sonicare-Modellen. Wenn nun noch die bekannten Probleme (z.B. Bürstenstift locker) tatsächlich behoben wurden, wäre das toll. Mal schauen...Einziges Manko: In der heutigen Zeit ein technisches Produkt auf den Markt zu bringen mit USB-A ist ein Witz. Da leider auch kein Netzstecker mehr dabei ist, ist man gezwungen sich einen alten Stecker mit USB-A zu besorgen.
