Delivers everything normal gels do with the added benefit of nitrate, so I’m taking these instead of regular carb gels. I’ve been taking these before and during some training runs and feel a difference. Surprisingly the taste is actually fantastic, not very beetrooty at all. It sits very well in the stomach too.

I tried these before my races and they felt like they should be illegal, my heart rate was so low and it helped me get PBs. It tastes disgusting but for the benefits, it’s worth it, and it makes your urine and stool purple as well, which was a bit scary the first time I found that out. But yeah, amazing.

If evil had a flavour, it would taste of celery.If evil had an evil twin who was 10 times more evil, it would taste of this stuff.BUT it works.Comparing the same Hyrox lactate threshold workout, with 1 shot taken 2 hours before, average HR was the same but output was higher (including a pace PB on the rower) and RPE was lower.I’m interested to see if Whoop records any change to my blood oxygen level.

I've been using Beet IT Sport in my training for my local half marathon, I am totally convinced that it has had a positive effect, this was proved by my best ever half marathon time 01:39, a 6 min improvement on my previous best, it just seems to make my breathing easier and on my run in general I was more in control of fatigue. every other factor during my training and the run itself was the same i.e. shoes, gels, course all the same .

Tastes great. Thought it was going to be very beetrooty (is that even a word?) but it's easy to drink and is only a mouthful anyway.Not sure about any performance improvements. Doing a marathon in a few days, so I'll soon find out!

This stuff is everything they say it is and I can see why the British Olympic team used it in 2012.I'm currently changing my life style and I knock one of these back everyday before I work out. I'm amazed by the results, it really does increase stamina and reduce BP temporarily, excellent product and much cheaper than high street health shop crazy prices, what is not to like?? Well some people I've given it to pull a face when they first taste it, but you get used to it very quickly, its kind of meaty and sweet at the same time but honestly it is what it is and its very good for pre workouit preparation! I actually like the taste now and I'm going to have a shot every morning for the forseeable future. Empowermenr in a bottle!

Rubbish. Not as usual. I've been consuming these for over a year and the ones delivered are not the same. These are watery, don't look or taste right. Positive they don't contain the nitrates they claim.I complained to James White and ordered directly from them. The ones they sent were watery and doubt the contain the nitrates they claim.This product has changed and I will be switching to another brand.

These definitely improve performance when at the gym or our for a run - you can literally feel a positive rush through your system when you'd usually be at the tiring stage, like a burst of adrenaline. But these little bottles of magic have other hidden powers. My high blood pressure is "cured" and has gone from a consistent 150/90 to an average of 120/75 (obviously have been exercising too!) in just a couple of weeks. Not just that, I find that taking one before bed gives me a lovely night's sleep and i wake up feeling refreshed. Everyone's body is different, but these are an absolute gem of a find!
