    This review is for Carpuride W702B Motorcycle Carplay Screen with Custom Mount for BMW Motorbike, Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Portable 7 inch Waterproof Touchscreen, Dual Bluetooth, Navigation, Siri.I received this to review as part of the Bolo vine program.I got this as a gift as have one for my bike and really like it. We found it easy to install from the box. It is a 7” screen so just the right size to be able to read but also it doesn’t get in the way. It is easy to pair with android, and says it also pairs with iphones but we haven’t tried this. The screen is very clear and is also visible in bright sunlight. It is easy to see and follow. It feel that it’s a little bit of luxury and I am happy with the quality of this unit.

    I installed this on my dad's BMW motorcycle and it is easier than expected to install using the BMW bracket. The bracket mount is very sturdy and won't wobble during the ride. My dad has paired it with a motorcycle headset and the voice commands work perfectly. The screen quality is fantastic and I think the 7-inch screen size is perfect for a motorcycle. It is waterproof so it can be used in the rain. It connects to the phone very quickly every time I start the bike, the connection performance is the same as the Apple CarPlay in my car. It is also easy to remove it from the bike. In my opinion, this is probably one of the best in the market for BMW bikes. Highly recommended!

    PROS-excellent clear screen-easy to mount and power (happily, it’ll mount on a non-BMW bike too, though it’s _much_ more easily integrated with a BMW)-can connect directly to bluetooth headphones (or connect with a phone in-between)-Siri integration works pretty well (though it can be a bit confused by high wind noise)-solid construction-very solid mount-weatherproof-pairs quickly every time I start my bikeCONS-faffy to get set up and talking to my phone and headphones-not easy to dismount, which means I need it leave it, and it’s more vulnerable to theft-speaker is weedy (I use headphones anyway)NOTES-this is _so_ much better than using my phone (in a waterproof case)MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

    This is now our third Carpuride Carplay screen and hopefully, in the nicest way, the last! I should add that the other two are slightly different models but essentially almost the same.This is not the third because of any issues, but because we have 3 bikes in the family and now we all have one, and we have stuck with this brand because the first 2 have been faultless.So easy to set up, even for non BMW bikes, it’s just that you get an extra fitting for a BMW so don’t think it is only for BMW’s.Simply attach this to your handlebar so that it is not obscuring speedo etc, this proves to be the trickiest part of installation, only due to getting the positioning right.Simply connect the power to your bike’s USB if it has one, if not then there is a wire to connect direct to your battery. That’s it your good to go!The touch screen is nice and sensitive but not overly so and just works really well.The screen is easy to read in the sun, and also the rain and of course is waterproof. All 3 of ours have now been caught in minor showers and we have had no issues at all.The navigation function is excellent and again nice and easy to read whilst on the move.A top quality screen that all 3 of us can highly recommend

    I got this in the hope that it would be easy to fit onto any motorbike, rather than just using the specific BMW attachment, and fortunately it is. I have found that because of this it was also possible to use it in a car and, with a power bank to run it, a mountain bike too. Ultimate flexibility.I’ve wanted a CarPlay device for a while, and having both a car and a motorbike, I needed something that can hold up to the weather conditions, which this one seems capable of.Firstly, connection was a breeze. I can connect to my phone for the CarPlay, and then connect either my phone or the device itself to my helmet’s Bluetooth to get the audio to my helmet (or BT earplugs if that’s your choice). I wasn’t expecting a direct connection, but was very pleased to find it was capable and very easy to set up.The screen is very clear, and although I’ve not been lucky enough to be able to test it in the bright sunshine, it’s clear enough to read on the dull dreary days we’ve had recently.Adding CarPlay to my bike has blade such a huge difference to my commute. My phone, whilst functional for satnav, is just a little small but this bigger screen just makes the experience much easier to glance down at. I mainly use it to notify any road closures, but I often have to drive out to see clients in unfamiliar areas.My experience of this Carpuride has been overwhelmingly positive and look forward to many more rides out into the countryside. Especially as I can use downloaded maps to my iPhone for areas where cell signals might be spotty.
