I used to use rat cages to catch the horrible vermin then use the air rifle to end them as they would come out when I was sleeping.Bought 4 of these rat traps and I can honestly say they are the best traps I've used. Very strong and snap down with huge force, I've had them down for a few hours and already killed 2 rats.Size they are about the size of a male's hand palm. 100% value for money, definitely work as stated already killed 2 rats so very effective and very easy to use. Simply twist the yellow top off, bait the trap put yellow cap back on put trap where you want it and then push the ends down to set and then leave for it to take them out.100% use this product it does as it says

I thought I saw a rat in the garden pinching food from a fat ball bird feeder. So I put one of these traps out (using peanut butter as a bait) and in the morning I had a dead rat.I put a couple more of the traps out just in case and within 10 minutes in the same location, snap, another rat killed.Nothing more from that side of the garden but overnight I caught another that had been eating bird nuts on the other side of the garden.So these work, and they are easy to set. The yellow colour doesn't seem to ward off the rats, I guess they like the smell of peanut butter too much.Given how quickly they snap, I would be cautious oif using these anywhere near children.

These do what they're supposed to. I read the reviews and the first two nights the traps were triggered but didn't catch anything. They were positioned on gravel though so I think they must have been easy to disturb. I relocated them into a flat surface against something firm so they can't be pushed or moved or disturbed easily. The last three nights they have done the job. There is no mess it's a straightforward kill.They can be sensitive to set but you just need to persevere and make sure that the food bit is raised to where it should be.Overall they do the job.

Neither of the 2 traps were effective. Both injured the rat, but did not kill it. Inhumane, awful and cruel. I’ve stopped using them and would definitely not buy again. These traps seem to catch the rat by the leg rather than head, so one rat managed to escape with goodness knows what injuries, while the other one I found soon after the trap snapped and I had to deal with it. Terrible traps. I have replaced these with a box trap and hope for better results. At least with an enclosed box trap the rat is guided to the correct position, whereas with these the rat can come from any angle. I thought the jagged edges would solve this issue, but alas no.

I caught 2 rats in 1 day without putting any food on the trap already, they are very strong, have a fast snap on them and I would highly recommend. if i need any more i know where to come
