The media could not be loaded. This set comes with the whisk, a ceramic whisk stand, and two wooden spoons for measuring tea. I'm a newbie to whisking matcha so the video might not be showing the correct way, but I think it worked well enough for me. The small whisk did a good job of mixing in the tea powder and there were no lumps. It had a nice frothy head on it as well.The whisk does a good job. It fits nicely on the stand after use and can be stored here to dry and make sure that it doesn't get bent out of shape. The two spoons for measuring are straightforward enough. I might have overdone it a bit on the quantity of tea because it was a little on the bitter side, but overall I think it was a success. I will need to get used to how much to measure out and these spoons will provide a consistent measurement.

This set is packed in a corrugated brown cardboard box with a full-print wrap-around card section to give it a little more flair. Inside are the seven items intended for a traditional formal Japanese tea ceremony. Included are a bamboo whisk, a porcelain whisk stand with the same lovely soft green glaze as the quite delicate chawan bowl, a large bamboo tea scoop for transferring green tea, a delicate bamboo tea scoop for actually taking the green tea to the chawan, a cotton chakin cloth, and a bamboo roll to work on (no actual name, as it’s an addition to the traditional items, though you can do a chadō in the open, and you do use a cloth for that, so this is an acceptable addition even in a traditional set.The chawan is just a gorgeous spring colour though it’s worth noting that the actual foot of this chawan is quite narrow, so you might have to work hard to keep it steady as you whisk the contents, though the sides are nice and high to avoid spills. The internal glaze is also very smooth, so again you might have to work hard to create a fine froth in this chawan, and you might lose a few tines of your whisk to the indented ridges along the sides.The chasen whisk is a robust one though, with less tines thant he standard 100-tine version, so it will require less attention, and the curved chashaku scoop is going to provide right amount of tea for a single bowl of cha (with two scoops).All you actually need to add is some matcha green tea to create a nice wabicha experience, though you could add additional parts (a traditional bamboo water ladle, a furui to sieve the powdered tea, and a natsume tea caddy). In all, I’d say this is a great introduction to chadō, at a very affordable price. Recommended.

Didn't come mouldy which is great. Cute little cloth, kinda thick. The whisk holder does cause the curls on the whisk to flatten. The whisk works really well. The bowl is a good size and was easy to whisk in. It is a bit heavy, it is nice to hold as it has grooves. The edge on the bowl is uneven and does not have a spout. The packaging is nice and the whisk had a plastic tube to keep it's shape. Pretty colours, greenish blue.

Amazing quality set with best Matcha I’ve ever used. Everything feels so well made, it really makes the process of making matcha special. My only gripe is the bowl is impossible to pour cleanly from. It’s a beautiful bowl though.
