Assembling this is pretty straightforward, though with the weight of the parts, you really need to make sure you have a suitable space.I had a small problem with one of the screw holes being too off-centre to get a screw through. Luckily it was a part that was already secured by three screws, so I left this one out. Also, on one part the pant was a little spattered, leading to a scrape when closing the door. Neither of these things are a big deal though.This a really well-designed and well-made unit. The hinged door is great, because on a wall-mount unit, it's really hard to get access to rear cabling. Slipping the door open gives access to the back very easily. The solid steel construction of this rack is very appealing and it really feels secure. Nice black finish too.And I was very glad of all the accessories - plenty of bolts and cage nuts. That might seem trivial, but the costs of these little extras can really add up, so I was delighted to have so many included.

Was simple and easy to put together. Love the cardboard drill mount guide - though the cardboard is slightly bigger than the actual unit, so needed to trim it down a little. My main problem is that I think the side arms/supports are slightly closed or angled down too much, so the front didn’t fit correctly and the plastic guides broke the very first time I tried to shut the “door”. And now(? - the door never swung easily from the beginning) the door doesn’t open very easily: which isn’t a huge problem because the lack of sides means I can easily access the back. But if that was a required feature you might be disappointed - unless mine was just one that slipped through QC.
Easy to assemble, high quality build with included nuts for mounting
The media could not be loaded. The build quality here is excellent , nice thick metal , accurate machining with a thick clean powdered paint coat.The thickness of the metal does make it heavy so you need to mount it on strong walls.The instructions are good , and it is quick to assemble if you follow them , not that any of it is complicated, it’s basically three parts that screw together by two different types of screws. Took me about 20 mins.It will take longer to mount to the wall, the fastening bolts look high quality in keeping with the rest of the product.Highly recommended at its current price.
Sturdy Wall-Mount Rack
The Tecmojo 6U Wall Mount Rack is a great solution for organizing network equipment. The open frame design provides good airflow and easy access. The swing gate is a useful feature for easy equipment installation and maintenance. The 18-inch depth is sufficient for most standard equipment. Solid build quality, and recommended for home or small office network setups.

The Tecmojo Open Frame Server Rack arrived neatly packaged in a plain cardboard box.In the box you get a 6u 19" open frame server rack nicely finished in pressed steel with a black powder coated finish and the Tecmojo logo printed on the top front in contrasting white.Well designed with an open structure the unit takes standard 19" rack mounting devices and features a great front panel that can hinge open from either side to allow access to cables at the rear of the rack.All steel components are smooth without any rough edges and the real brackets are punched to accept wall mounting fittings at standard 16" stud widths, while the unit itself can accept loads up to 50kg static and 25kg sliding.A versatile open server rack for the small home network.
Well made frame
The time has finally come to put my home network in order so I have been ordering frames from Tecmojo for several places in the house. This is the only one that isn't quite what I want. The frame is very solid and needs minimal assembly, but the 6U rack module is dwarfed by the outer frame and consequently doen't make ideal use of the space. I now wish I had ordered the 9U or 12U size, which would have been more in proportion.All the same, it's built to a high stand, comes with everything needed (including a stout mounting template) and is just as excellent as the rest of the kit I have received. If the chunkiness of the frame does not put you off the 6U size I would recommend it, but I'd suggest going for the larger models if you have space.
