As someone who loves smart tech and lighting, I’ve tested quite a few LED strip lights—but the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro easily stands out. From setup to performance, it’s been genuinely impressive. I’ve attached photos showing the brightness range using LuminBlend at both low and high settings, plus a look at the Govee app interface, which gives you an idea of how much control you have right from your phone.Setup & Installation:The setup was really straightforward. The adhesive backing is strong and reliable, and it came with extra clips that helped me secure it neatly under my bed. I had it fully installed and connected in less than 20 minutes. No need for tools, and the Govee app found the strip immediately.Brightness & LuminBlend:The LuminBlend technology is one of my favourite features—it gives you seamless, smooth gradients with multiple colours showing at once. The brightness range is fantastic, which you can see in my photos. Even at low settings, the light has a soft, even glow that’s perfect for relaxing, and at max brightness, it lights up the space easily without being harsh. The blending of colours across segments is smooth and looks much more premium than older strip light models.App & Control:The Govee app is genuinely one of the best out there for smart lighting. It’s easy to use, highly customizable, and packed with features. You can choose from loads of pre-set effects, adjust brightness and colour, or even create your own custom scenes. The interface is clean and modern—I included a screenshot in my photos so you can see what it looks like. It also works perfectly with my Google Assistant for hands-free control.DreamView & Music Sync:I paired the Strip Light 2 Pro with my Govee Music Sync Box and other Govee lights through DreamView, and the result is a completely immersive lighting setup. Music sync is super responsive—the lights react in real time with the beat and create a dynamic, energetic vibe that’s great for gaming or chilling with music. It genuinely transforms the atmosphere of my room.Build Quality:This strip feels durable, flexible, and high quality. The segments transition smoothly, and there’s no flickering or dim spots. The design feels solid and long-lasting, and it’s clear that this is a premium product.Final Thoughts:If you’re serious about smart lighting or just want to take your bedroom or gaming setup to the next level, the Strip Light 2 Pro is a brilliant choice. It’s bright, beautiful, and built for customisation. The media could not be loaded. Review of Govee RGBIC LED Strip Light 2 ProMy only other experience of a Govee product is a room thermometer. That's worked well fro us, so I was interested to try these even though I have no other lights like this.Easy enough to plug in and use (I have not tried mounting yet, but don't expect this to be too difficult). Seem really bright (dimmable) and clearly have more than one LED chip in each position to provide a wide range of colours.Manual control allows on/off, change mode (e.g. changing all colours, or choosing steady warm white/cool white) and brightness.Connecting with the app (which I already had for the thermometer) is quick and easy (detects on Bluetooth and then asks for wifi password - hmm, not so sure about that, but no alternative if you want to use the app - there's no WPS option).The app has a tonne of features which will take some time to explore. I suspect some are gimmicks you'll never use, but it does allow fine grained control of colour with a colour wheel and also access to the music mode. Within the music mode are various options. I've only played with Rhythm so far which is the most responsive I think.Video shows unboxing and the manual and app modes a bit.

After purchasing 1 and installation this was pretty easy as like many strip lights, this changed my whole Govee setup! meaning the new lumablend or whatever they have put into this strip light is totally unreal, blending the colours so it doesn't look 'choppy' anymore! So i went and brought 5 more to replace the old govee lights - its brighter too!! well recommended.

Govee lights are an excellent option for creating a cozy atmosphere. They easily connect to various smart home systems. The app control and music sync feature add a fun twist, allowing for more flexibility. The color change mode provides plenty of creative design possibilities, and the integration with Alexa and Google Assistant enhances convenience.

I'm no stranger to smart lighting, having around 80+ smart devices integrated into my home automation. Since discovering govee I have slowly been phasing out my previous prefered brand (due it's high cost mostly), to govee. The hardware is always high quailty, and it's no different this time. Very well packaged, feels like an event with even the box feeling premium (which is somewhat expected from it's price point). The strip connects very quickly to the app, which is probably, in my option - one of the best, most intuitive and creative smart apps out there. The colours are bright and vivid, the connectivity is stable, the light is reasonably well diffused depending on distance of the backdrop and the customisation is next level - as you can change the colour of each grouping of 6 LEDS, which are fairly densely packed in. Also compatability for both Dreamview and Matter if you have an exsiting system (which I do, and can confirm it works well, although dreamview has it's quirks when it comes to first set-up). Overall though, very happy with this strip and will be purchasing another. Would recommend

L'effetto dei led è ottimo, ha molta difficoltà ad integrarsi in un ambiente domotico e essere controllato con alexainoltre il trasformatore è saltato.Me ne hanno però cambiato uno in assistenzaspero non ci siano altri problemi perchè i led hanno davvero bei colori
Muy bonita y completa, consigue un ambiente bonito y relajante.
La presentación de este producto está muy bien ejecutada, se trata de una caja de cartón muy gruesa con la foto de la tira led iluminada en varios colores y en esa tipología de producto se siente muy bien cuidada y realizada, posicionándose como un producto premium.En su interior se encuentra:- Un manual de instrucciones.- Un mando.- Un cable de alimentación.- Un alimentador.- Un sobre con una servilleta con alcohol para preparar la superficie.- Unos soportes con clavo.- La tira led en en un disco de plástico.Este producto se ve muy bien ejecutado, la calidad de los materiales es muy elevada aunque hay una par de cosas que en mi opinión son mejorable.La primera es que el pegamento que trae la propia tira led no es 3M, por lo cual la adherencia en la pared a veces no es muy buena hay que ejercer mucha fuerza para que se quede pegado.La segunda es que la servilleta para preparar la superficie es muy pequeña y apenas me puedo limpiar las manos con ella.Este producto cuenta con unos soportes que hacen que se quede anclada a la pared, pero eso requiere de atornillarlos y de esta forma la tira led se queda perfectamente adherida.El brillo que tiene la tira led es suficiente para generar un ambiente muy relajante en una habitación pequeña además la medida que es de 5 metros hace lo haya usado solo en un lateral del salón.Este producto cuenta con conexión por bluetooth con el móvil, hay que descargarse una app que permite controlarlo todo por remoto, y hacer varios efectos que quedan muy bien. La app tiene una interfaz fácil de usar y de controlar, además la gama cromática es buena.Se puede usar como luz blanca y la temperatura varía desde los 2700 a los 6500 k, permitiéndome tener una luz fría o caliente.Este producto además es compatible tanto con Alexa como con Google Home, y se puede configurar para que cambie de color, se encienda o se apague, hasta puedes pedirle que se encienda a una hora determinada.El cable de alimentación es bastante largo y me da bastante versatilidad.La relación calidad precio me parece muy buena y puede ser una muy buena idea regalo ya que le da un toque mágico a cualquier estancia.Espero te haya sido útil.

L'effetto dei led è ottimo, ha molta difficoltà ad integrarsi in un ambiente domotico e essere controllato con alexainoltre il trasformatore è saltato.Me ne hanno però cambiato uno in assistenzaspero non ci siano altri problemi perchè i led hanno davvero bei colori

La presentación de este producto está muy bien ejecutada, se trata de una caja de cartón muy gruesa con la foto de la tira led iluminada en varios colores y en esa tipología de producto se siente muy bien cuidada y realizada, posicionándose como un producto premium.En su interior se encuentra:- Un manual de instrucciones.- Un mando.- Un cable de alimentación.- Un alimentador.- Un sobre con una servilleta con alcohol para preparar la superficie.- Unos soportes con clavo.- La tira led en en un disco de plástico.Este producto se ve muy bien ejecutado, la calidad de los materiales es muy elevada aunque hay una par de cosas que en mi opinión son mejorable.La primera es que el pegamento que trae la propia tira led no es 3M, por lo cual la adherencia en la pared a veces no es muy buena hay que ejercer mucha fuerza para que se quede pegado.La segunda es que la servilleta para preparar la superficie es muy pequeña y apenas me puedo limpiar las manos con ella.Este producto cuenta con unos soportes que hacen que se quede anclada a la pared, pero eso requiere de atornillarlos y de esta forma la tira led se queda perfectamente adherida.El brillo que tiene la tira led es suficiente para generar un ambiente muy relajante en una habitación pequeña además la medida que es de 5 metros hace lo haya usado solo en un lateral del salón.Este producto cuenta con conexión por bluetooth con el móvil, hay que descargarse una app que permite controlarlo todo por remoto, y hacer varios efectos que quedan muy bien. La app tiene una interfaz fácil de usar y de controlar, además la gama cromática es buena.Se puede usar como luz blanca y la temperatura varía desde los 2700 a los 6500 k, permitiéndome tener una luz fría o caliente.Este producto además es compatible tanto con Alexa como con Google Home, y se puede configurar para que cambie de color, se encienda o se apague, hasta puedes pedirle que se encienda a una hora determinada.El cable de alimentación es bastante largo y me da bastante versatilidad.La relación calidad precio me parece muy buena y puede ser una muy buena idea regalo ya que le da un toque mágico a cualquier estancia.Espero te haya sido útil.
