This is a fun set of peg-like dolls which come in a couple of plastic bags but packed well. I really love this set which features a mum, dad, boy, girl baby and also grandparents. The dolls all manage to stand and are decently made and feel like a toy from the past (those haircuts just look a little 70s lol😁). They are simply made with wool for hair and simple clothing. Despite the simple look to them, they are fun and cute and the wood used on the heads, arms and feet is finished off well so no sharp edges to hurt kids hands.There's something so retro about the way these look. Even my mum said they look like toys she'd played with when she was a girl. However the design of them is also timeless and they are good peg-like dolls to play with and place inside a dolls house. A nice set :)

I got this for the dolls house we have.They are a little large compared with the furniture but the kids wont care.Its the play value they want.7 people .One is a baby with soft arms and legs and wooden head.Then grandparents ,parents and 2 siblingsThe clothing is fixed.Bodies of all the 6 stand up dolls are a wood block for the torso, wood shaped hand and feet pieces and a sort of thick stuff for the arms and legs.I think it could be a wire but its not metallic looking see pics.This is quite stiff so while they can be posed, its a trial and error to get it done .They can stand up on their wooden feet .Hair is glued on 'wool'I would suggest 6 and above for playing with these unsupervised, as younger children may be tempted to chew on parts or try to style the hair or remove the clothes and you really cant.Our set had a rather odd little girl doll, as her arms could only be made to go backwards and not forwards.I think the torso block must be directional and on backwards but I dont want to spoil her just to see.Anyway they have excellent play value for when visitors come and i get the feeling my olduns would also play with these
