Bought this table cloth for my glass table which I was sick and tired of cleaning all the time. And I can honestly say I have made my life thousand much easier. It is a very good quality for the price I must say. The colour is perfect for a busy household with 3 kids under 10 years of age. It is definable waterproof and stain resistant as it had lots of oil stains on the very first day and I couldn’t wash it the very same day so it was an old stain which went away with the first wash. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality table cloth.

Nice big table cloth that looks like linen, it had been on yer table a few weeks now and it's still very creased so a wash and an iron is needed if you want it to lay flat.

Excellent tablecloth, minor packaging quibble.I'm genuinely impressed with this 'Smiry Faux Linen Tablecloth'.The 140 x 300cm rectangular size is exactly as described, fitting my dining table perfectly, even when fully extended.It feels and looks like a good quality product, and I particularly appreciate the thick fabric with its flannel backing.This makes it wonderfully gentle on my wooden table, offering excellent protection without being overly heavy.A standout feature is its water resistance. Spills bead up into droplets, making them incredibly easy to wipe away.I'm hopeful this fantastic property will remain after washing.I was also pleasantly surprised that it arrived with very few creases, which is always a bonus!With its great quality, and the wide array of colours and sizes available, this tablecloth is definitely a worthwhile investment.It's a five-star product in terms of performance, but I've rated it four stars due to the packaging – it arrived in an open and seemingly too-small plastic bag, possibly indicating it was a return...This minor point aside, I highly recommend it.

Tischdecke mit Lotuseffekt und Vlies (!) auf der Rückseite
Für meinen Esstisch im Wohnzimmer musste mal wieder eine neue Tischdecke her und die neue Decke sollte den Lotuseffekt haben, da bei der gegenwärtigen Hitze an Gläsern mit Kaltgetränken sehr schnell Tauwasser hinabläuft. Und hin und wieder verschütte ich auch ein wenig, wenn ich ein Glas zu sehr befüllt habe. Normale Tischdecken müssen dann schnell mal in die Waschmaschine.Bei dieser hier mit Lotuseffekt, kann ich Tauwasser am Glasfuß oder verschüttete Getränke einfach schnell mit einem Papiertaschentuch auftupfen. Das ist praktisch. Allerdings sollte man sich dafür bei dieser Tischdecke nicht zu viel Zeit lassen, da sie nicht vollständig wasserdicht ist. Mit der Zeit kann Flüssigkeit hier durchaus einsickern.Dafür ist die Decke ziemlich aufwendig produziert. So hat sie auf der Rückseite ein aufgebrachtes Vlies. Das macht die Decke einerseits dicker und widerstandsfähiger, andererseits rutscht sie deswegen nicht so leicht über die glatte Tischplatte. Dieses Vlies hat aber auch einen Nachteil: Der Verkäufer schreibt, man müsse die Decke wegen dieses Vlieses per Hand bei unter 30 Grad waschen. WHAT? Ich werde sie trotzdem bei 30 Grad in der Maschine waschen. Geht sie deswegen kaputt, hole ich mir eine neue ohne Vlies. In diesem Fall wird ein Update folgen.

Hübsch und praktisch
Die Decke ist hübscher als erwartet, sie glänzt nicht und hat eine angenehme Haptik, man kann also im Sommer auch gut den nackten Arm darauf ablegen ohne festzukleben. Die Größe ist passgenau. Interessant ist die Fleece-artige Rückseite, durchaus außergewöhnlich für eine Tischdecke, hat den Vorteil, dass die Decke nicht rutscht und satt auf der Platte aufliegt. In der Praxis hat das „Dicke“ bislang nicht gestört. Die Decke lässt sich gut abwischen, Flüssigkeiten stehen eine kurze Weile auf der Oberfläche, also für Kinder durchaus geeignet. Sie hat zu Anfang leider heftigst ungut gerochen, ich habe sie einige Zeit lüften lassen. Da ich genau nach solch einer Decke gesucht habe, bin ich sehr zufrieden, ich bin gespannt, wie lange sie schön ist, den Preis von über 20€ muss sie noch auf Dauer rechtfertigen.
Sieht sehr nach Plastik aus und weniger nach Leinen-Optik-Tischdecke
Farbe ist ein schöne Beige, aber zu glänzend, um als "Leinenoptik" durchzugehen. Die Nähte sind sauber verarbeitet, jedoch sieht die Decke insgesamt sehr synthetisch aus und fühlt sich richtig nach Plastik an. Am schlimmsten sieht jedoch die Rückseite aus, die hinterlässt einen Eindruck wie Maler-Vlies. Dadurch ist zwar die Tischoberfläche geschützt, aber an den Tischkanten kann man die Rückseite in den Falten sehen. Ich überlege, die Decke zurück zu schicken...
