Very good for sourdough and muffins.Useless for Warburtons. Even if you put it in sideways it doesn't all get toasted.The timer countdown is very useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars TWO ISSUES WITH THIS TOASTER.
This is, by far, the poorest toaster I have used over my 75+ years, for the following 2 reasons:-1) After trying various standard sizes of sliced bread, the slots do not go deep enough. I have to try and 'flick' the slices round whilst toasting to try and get ALL the slice toasted.2) You cannot raise the toast to check/turn it midway (for the above reasons) as the timing mechanism starts from zero again, obviously then giving you very burnt toast.So..... perhaps the company would look at this and make a toaster with deeper slots and secondly make one with a pause function so you can check the toast - err, for the above reasons!Thank you very much.

It is very good..Size is exactly what we wanted..Did not cost the earth and it seems like it is a value for money purchase..easy to use. Very smart looking...Arrived on same day..excellent service! 👍❤

The toaster is OK, but it has some problems. It has all the functionality of a normal toaster and I like the gadget side of it, but.... :-- It can take 4 pieces of bread, but they have to be stood up in order for them to fit - Then the top of the bread is not toasted (!) becuas it sticks out the top of the toaster.- If you just put in two pieces of bread, (long ways) it doesn't toast the top of the bread either.- We set it to 5 (out of 7) but its never enough, you end up put it on 2 or 3 times to get the toast just right and toasted on all sides.- The crumb tray just as well not be there, it can hold approximately 1 crumb before it needs emptying- There is no option to lift the bread to see what colour the bread is mid way through the toast. You have to cancel it, which starts the timer from the begining.These are all basic functions that other toasters have. Our last toaster was 10 years odl and had these functions.If I'm honest, we have to keep it as Bolo seems to be crashing down on returns. But, its one of the worst toasters we have owned and would return it given a chance.PS - WE bought the kettle as well, not from Bolo, that is equally bad...

Works well and looks good.Loses a star because although it says it’s a 4 slice toaster I have to cut crusts off to get two slices in the slot.Says it’s made for a standard toasting loaf but I think this is probably for the American market.That said still very pleased with it.
