Cool grey shades and square for easy put on.Could arrange accordingly to suit.Nice soft and smooth surface, which also available to pin your notes.Pretty effective of damping the echoes.Light and ready to stick on, with the double sided stickers.Reasonable at around £25 for a dozen.
5.0 out of 5 stars Improved Sound in My Van Setup, Though Adhesive Could Be Stronger
I bought these panels for a DIY van conversion where I was trying to reduce echo and outside noise during recording sessions and quiet work time. I didn’t need full soundproofing, just something to soften the acoustics and stop everything from bouncing around inside the space.The panels themselves are lightweight and easy to handle, and the foam has a decent density to it. I wasn’t expecting miracles at this price, but once I got them up, there was a noticeable difference. Conversations no longer sound hollow, and the space feels much less tinny when I’m recording or taking calls. They don’t block noise from outside, but they definitely help reduce reflections and make the interior more comfortable for sound.The self-adhesive backing was a mixed bag. It stuck okay to smoother surfaces, but on areas with a bit of texture or slight curvature, I had to reinforce with extra adhesive strips or spray mount. A few panels peeled off in warmer weather, which was frustrating. I’d recommend planning for some backup mounting if you’re not sticking them to completely flat walls.Visually, they look clean and consistent. The black colour suits the van’s interior and gives it a bit more of a finished look. They're not too thick, which is great in a confined space, but still thick enough to do the job acoustically.If you’re after a simple way to improve sound in a small space like a van, studio corner, or office pod, these are definitely worth a try. Just don’t rely fully on the adhesive if you're applying them somewhere less than ideal.
