My daughter was so excited to receive it and has since made several types of matcha tea and lattes. This particular set didn't have a pouring spout so there was a little spillage but her matcha journey is just beginning so with practice...The equipment is excellent quality right down to the bamboo whisk and the cool stand that I thought was a cup.Overall, a delightful ceremonial tea set at a great price.

I purchased this Japanese matcha set as a first-time gift for my wife, who adores matcha and has a keen interest in Japanese culture. It seemed like the perfect occasion to surprise her with something unique.The set arrived in an attractive box, though it unfortunately bore a sticker with my address. I would have preferred it without stickers since it was a gift, but aside from that, the set was in impeccable condition and complete.My wife was absolutely delighted with every component of the set, from the tiny measuring spoon/stick for the matcha powder to the beautifully glazed ceramic bowl.Included was a booklet filled with straightforward instructions and descriptions for each part of the set and its maintenance. It's an ideal guide for beginners, and as my wife puts it, the set is simply stunning.She finds preparing matcha with this set to be a calming and mindful experience and is thrilled with her present.I've grown fond of it as well and am considering getting one for myself, as the matcha somehow tastes better when whisked in the bowl with the bamboo whisk.I trust you'll find my review and the accompanying photos of the product beneficial.

One of daughters loves matcha. Specifically making it as well.So we got her this set as she was just using normal day to day bowls.She loved it and has said the little whisk thing makes mixing it easier.The bowl is a good size and the colour on it is beautiful.She’s really happy with it.

På bilden syns tydliga färger och ett vackert mönster, men den jag fick är helt mörk och saknar alla dessa detaljer. Den ser helt annorlunda ut i verkligheten. Kvaliteten verkar okej och resten av setet fungerar, men jag är inte nöjd med att produkten inte matchar beskrivningen.

First, before I give my take, let me say... get a good quality Matcha (try matcha.com). If it's cheap, expect to get, and taste, what you paid for. I bought an organic ceremonial grade matcha that is so nice.I really like this set and recommend it for 1st time matcha users, such as myself. Everything is here that you need. I was going to give it 4 stars because the chasen is not a great quality and some of the tines are already broken off at the end after just a few weeks of use. It will get me by for now, but I will invest in a better one.Other than that, it's all good including the fine mesh strainer, however you don't need a strainer for matcha. Just put a tsp (2 scoops using the included stick) in the bowl and add 1TBS ROOM TEMP water (not cold or hot!). Stir gently for 30 sec to a minute with the chasen and the matcha will be glossy with no lumps. Then add 3TBS of boiled water and mix using the customary chasen technique for a fine froth. Plenty of YouTube videos to teach this process. Enjoy the ritual, the taste and the calm.Also be sure to try lattes with warm oat milk and get a manual frother if you want to add it as a milky foam (no need for electric). Another fun option, if you have it, is to add 2 tsp of lavender simple syrup to about 1/2c whole milk for a yummy foam topping to an iced matcha latte (add 3/4c cold oat milk to the tea, then the foam).
