Wow I’m super impressed. Manages to get all the bits in corners, can turn up the vacuum to low-high for best results, easy to set up and the mop function is actually quite good and works well. I have 11 cats & a dog so this is going to save me a lot of time so I don’t have to get my big hoover out everyday. Picked up quite a lot of cat hair/fluff in one go

Why did you choose this product over others?:I owned a EUFY and decided to upgrade . I was dubious about a brand I didn’t know or heard of turns out they are owned by TP Link. Great hoover , easy , smart and app enabled . Absolutely love this upgrade

I know Tapo as a brand as I have some of their products but trying out a hover from them - that was first!In terms of application and its use for hoovering:1. very easy to set up even for a non user2. very easy to map rooms and customise them with no-go zones etc3. lots of different ways to set up or initiate cleaning: specific rooms or areas, user presets, whole house settings (each room customisable), schedules, manual remote control (very responsive)4. can change from the hoover 'speaking' messages to various beeps, though the tone could be more pleasant5. “standalone” rugs (rather than carpeted rooms) rely too much on the app and not enough on the sensors. It’s very difficult to place them precisely but if I don’t, I can easily over and underestimate the size or placement which impacts cleaning.This is slightly annoying as some other hoovers recognise rugs, for example6. would be good to have some kind of “maintenance mode” in app, as it is removing the tank/dust tray for any cleaning even with the hoover seemingly powered off results in a lot of warning beeps and it trying to return to the home base7. would be good if the map could update each cleaning8. firmware update schedule is goodCleaning:1. maybe overly reliant on the pre-mapped routes, has oddly missed large central spots of floor where the simpler non-LIDAR one robo vacs, when set to the “S” route mode, hasn’t2. much better at navigating tightly around smaller obstacles than my old vac though (eg maneuvering around table legs)3. mopping good, but instructions could be clearer whether eg the tank needs to be emptied and dried after mopping.Instructions also state that you need to hoover before mopping, which makes sense, but the hoover will vacuum and mop at the same time if water tank is filled. It seems it’d make more sense if it could hoover first and mop after automatically, which can be achieved via custom user presets but that’s a bit counterintuitive (especially as default presets have both hoovering and mopping on at the same time)The tower is compact which is nice and it is not some behemoth of a robo vac.Overall, definitely upgrade on my old one with good functionality but there's still room for improvement.But happy nevertheless and current promo price of £199 is really good. That's how much I paid (if not slightly more) years ago for my first robo vac which was nowhere near the 'smartness' and functionality of this model.Solid 4 stars.

Absolutely love this. I’ve had two eufy robot vacuums previously but this one is by far the best. The mapping and mopping really makes a difference. I paid £189 so only £39 more than I paid for my last Eufy which broke 6 months after purchasing.
