Have you noticed how many companies nowadays like to slip buzz words into their advertising without explaining what they actually mean? For instance, do you know what hyaluronic acid is, or what it does? Hair and skincare products seem to be full of the stuff but no explanation is given in the ads beyond shouting about the fact that it's a key ingredient.And now here comes another one: Probiotic Technology. Technology! Must be good if it has Technology!And Probiotic? Really? Wy wife takes probiotic supplements for her digestive system but now here they are in a cleaning product. I don't have an argument with them being there but if Cif are going to make a thing of it by writing Probiotic Technology on their bottles, why can't they tell us what it actually means - and what it does that makes it different?Rant over, let's look at the general concept of this new cleaner. It apparently will clean almost anything and seems to be a replacement for general purpose cleaning sprays, furniture polish and fabric fresheners. It comes in a bottle with a reusable spray that pumps out a fine mist, with a distinctly different design from the average spray, quite attractive in its way.But does it work? Well, it cleans as well as any other kitchen cleaner I've used, helps in cleaning dust from shelves and windowsills, generally wipes marks from most surfaces. But as far as fabric freshening is concerned I honestly haven't noticed any difference. The spray I've been using is Lime and Lemongrass but even sniffing closely I find it hard to detect much of a smell. For the rest it's as good as many other cleaners I've used, though it doesn't claim to kill germs. It does, however, claim that it keeps working for days after it's been used. I'm not sure how. I can't say I've noticed anything. Or is that the point?I notice that it seems to be either very cheap or on special offer at supermarkets. Only time will tell if it's as good as it's claimed to be.

I absolutely love this all-in-one cleaner spray! The scent is fresh and lovely — not overpowering, just really pleasant. I use it on a variety of surfaces around the house, and because it smells so good, I even spray a bit onto a cloth and wipe down my fabrics to give it a quick refresh!The spray nozzle is great and produces a fine mist, so you don’t need much — a little really goes a long way. It does a fantastic job removing dirt and stains from my kitchen and bathroom and leaves no streaks or sticky residue. Just a clean, shiny surface and a wonderful scent left behind.Highly recommend if you're looking for an effective cleaner that also leaves your home smelling amazing

I picked up this Cif cleaner mostly for the lime and lemongrass scent, hoping for something that would leave the kitchen smelling fresh while tackling the usual grease and mess on surfaces. The idea of probiotics for a longer-lasting clean sounded interesting, so I was curious to see if it lived up to the promise.The scent is genuinely lovely. It’s refreshing without being overpowering, and it doesn’t leave that harsh chemical smell that some cleaners do. It cuts through everyday grime easily, especially on kitchen counters, sinks, and even the hob after cooking. I also used it in the bathroom and found it worked just as well on the taps and tiles.However, I didn’t really notice any lasting effect from the probiotic technology. Surfaces stayed clean as they normally would with any decent spray, but I can’t say I noticed any difference in how quickly dust or marks came back. It does the job in the moment, but the ‘long-lasting clean’ part felt more like marketing than reality.The spray nozzle works well and gives good coverage, although I wish the bottle was a bit more comfortable to hold when using it for a bigger clean.Overall, it’s a pleasant and effective everyday cleaner with a scent I really enjoy, but I wouldn’t rely on it to keep things cleaner for longer than usual.

This is really nice smelling cleaner, which is a bonus when you're using it around the sides of a cat litter tray! The spray action itself is quite unusual, you think it's going to be like a normal squirty bottle but it works more like an aerosol. It can catch you off guard the first time.I have no knowledge or comprehension of the claims about probiotic this and that. How does a biotic go professional? Are there amateur biotics? Or is it vaguely scientific marketing waffle? WHO CAN SAY?!Four stars are due because it's relying on the refills to be readily available into the future and cheaper than this to show its worth. Right now on Bolo, that's not the case for this fragrance (£5 for the refill or £5 for this - really?) but a six pack of another fragrance is £12. (And this fragrance is more expensive than the others for some reason.)So the jury's out on everything apart from it smelling nice and cleaning around a litter tray very nicely.

This is an excellent all-purpose cleaner. The bottle looks smart and is very comfortable to hold and use. The lime and lemongrass fragrance is lovely and leaves my home smelling fresh for a long time. I’m pleased with how long the clean feeling lasts. The bottle is also lovely and smooth, so it’s easy to store. The probiotic technology gives me confidence that I’m getting a proper, thorough clean each time. I’d definitely recommend it
