The paper is quite thin, a bit like a thin sugar paper that my kids used to draw on when they were little. My gel pen did not bleed through to pages underneath, neither did a normal biro. They are easy and smooth to write on. The adhesive area on the back is a generous 1.5" deep and the adhesive is reasonably strong so my notes stayed in place without peeling off. I like the compact size as I rarely need to write a lot down and these are small enough to carry around. Happy to recommend at the current price of £6.99 for 6.
