Directions
Evenly spread the required dose of Blanket Answer around the pond using a watering can filled with pond water. One scoop treats 400 L (90 Gallons) of pond water Apply the Blanket Answer in constant water temperatures of 10 deg C and above, allowing 2-3 days before adding the second half if river fish like Orfe-Rudd-Roach-Sturgeon are present Monitor pond conditions and river fish during treatment The pond water may turn milky for 4-7 days and the blanket weed will disappear over the next 7-10 days Add a top-up dose if necessary to remove all blanket weed Maintain a blanket weed-free pond with regular small top-up doses every 3-5 weeks After using Blanket Answer, add Cloverleaf 'sludge Answer' to maintain a healthy balance in the pond Feed Koi Sturgeon Sterlet Sinking Pellet Food to your fish as required, ensuring the food sinks to the bottom of the pond.

Tried many things over many years, barley straw etc., etc. Nothing touches this product and am going to try the sludge product when things have died off later in the year. There's nothing dangerous in the product, but I'd advise wearing a mask if your mixing into a watering can in a confined space. It clears the bottom of the pond, and I've got better control by several smaller mixes in a watering can and concentrating on the areas of the bottom of the pond that aren't clearing so fastMany thanks, Phil.

This really works well against blanket weed

This was a bit of a challenge. After estimating how much water I had in the pond I used half the tub. It turned the water milky. But I had also sprayed it onto the leaves of the lily, by accident, and those leaves were soon turning brown and spotted. However, after a few weeks the water had cleared and no more blanket weed so I assume it worked ! The lily recovered as well. But looked quite ugly for a while.

cleared the blanket weed within a week, this stuff is good however be aware that when you kill the algae it eats up the oxygen in the pond so add extra air for the fish! also dont use this in hot hot weather as the pond is low on oxygen anyway.get a stick and try and get the huge bits of blanketweed out prior to adding this, less stress on the pond then

Used this before. It turns pond water a milky colour but clears after a couple of days .Secret is to remove as much weed as possible before use and then treat on a regular basis and you will find it suppresses any weeds growth, especially when it's sunny
