This provides a high quality Magnesium which is Magnesium combined with citric acid to provide a highly absorbed form of Magnesium. It is also supposed to be easier on the digestive system which can be helpful for sensitive stomachs.You have to take 3 capsules so each bottle will provide a 30 day supply. So the key advantage is you are getting non- buffered, highly absorbed Magnesium with no other additional fillers.It is also made in the UK, under GMP conditions Overall it is a good quality magnesium supplement.

I've been taking Magnesium as a supplement for nearly a year now as I've found that it helps me sleep better at night and convinces my legs that they're not at a disco when I'm asleep. The Purolabs Magnesium Citrate capsules were easy to swallow and didn't have any aftertaste, you're supposed to take 3 per day and as you get 90 in the flat bottle shaped container, that's 30 days worth.In all honesty, I can't say there's any noticeable difference for me between taking these and taking my usual Magnesium supplements which are a lot cheaper and there's more of them per bottle. There may be some additional science I'm unaware of when it comes to things like "buffering" and I do appreciate that these capsules are vegan but as to whether I'd recommend them or not, I'm undecided and for me personally it would come down to price as these are £29.99 and my usual ones are only £9.99.

As with any supplement, it’s very difficult to know if they are effective without trialling over a long period and sometimes, not even then.I have previously taken magnesium for back and leg pain and sciatica, which was recommended by a physiotherapist and I did find taking a soluble version effective, as was a spray.I decided to try these to see if they help in any way with ongoing long-covid fatigue and brain fog and, general aches and pains. After a few weeks of use, I can report that I feel I am sleeping a little better. I’d say more soundly and some mornings waking up feeling a bit more refreshed than is normal. So it’s poss that these tablets have helped.I have also noticed a reduction in my leg stiffness and cramping, though it hasn’t completely disappeared and, less foot pain. I cannot be 100% certain that these effects are due to the tablets, but it is interesting that I have noticed some improvement in function.Magnesium seems to be one of the more expensive supplements. Would I buy these when they run out? Probably not, due to the price and the fact that you have to take 3 per day and they do have a plasticky after taste, albeit short lived. The soluble ones they sell in pharmacies, which dissolve in water, are easier for the body to absorb and cost less over a 1 month period.

This is a magnesium citrate supplement from Purolabs.The supplement contains 90 moderately sized capsules. However, the recommended dosage is 3 capsules per day so so the whole pack would last you only 1 month if you were to follow this recommendation.The capsules are not gelatin-based so the supplement is suitable for vegetarians. The product listing doesn't actually specify the dose of magnesium per serving - it is 210mg as stated on the product packaging. The supplement contains magnesium citrate which could actually have some mild laxative effects in some people (albeit milder than some other forms of magnesium).I personally don't think that you can justify charging almost £30 for a 30-days worth of magnesium supplement (not even a multivitamin), however good the brand is.
