This provides a high quality and very bioavailable form of Folate/Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) which is Quatrefolic (5- Methyltetrahydrofolic Acid)This superior form provides a food like equivalence which means the body is able to absorb the nutrient better.You just need one capsule a day which will provide 60 days of supply. Given the premium nature of this supplement the ingredients would cost more and therefore it would be higher prices than standard Folic Acid supplements.There are no other fillers in the capsule and it is suitable for Vegans and Vegetarians.

A recent blood test showed low folate levels so I thought I would give these a try. Firstly, I like the packaging - these flatter plastic containers fit easily through letter boxes so no need to be home when the delivery man arrives.I like that these supplements contrain Quatrefolic 5-MTF which my research says is the active, naturally occurring form of folate in the body, which is readily absorbed and used by our cells. This form bypasses the need for the body to convert folic acid, and offers increased bioavailability and stability.I take one capsule a day so this pack will last approximately two months. They are easy to swallow with no negative side effects.

I like the long best before date of 18 November 2027 on the bottle. It's currently April 2025 so this is excellent.The form of active folate in these capsules is Quatrefolic. Quatrefolic is a trademark for a specific type of folate preparation.It's my personal favourite and although it tends to be more expensive than other folate preparations I really do like what I've read about it.I've bought other Quatrefolic based supplements in the past and although the price, compared to the alternatives, does put me off, I do buy Quatrefolic for about four months of the year.There's two months supply here and so for sixty capsules the price, for the quality, is pretty good. I would prefer a three month supply and would buy a three month supply for a bit more money.These capsules are very easy to swallow with water.They are also made in the UK.I would definitely recommend this product even though the price is higher than most other folate preparations that aren't based on Quatrefolic.

Two .months supply of a folate supplement recommended for use during pregnancy. The tablets are tasteless and easily swallowed, and are vegan friendly. The packaging is cleverly designed to be portable through your letter box but has the additional benefit of taking up less shelf space than a normal container. Overall a great quality supplement. Highly recommended.

These folate supplements are exactly what I was looking for. The capsules are small and easy to swallow, which makes them very convenient to take daily. I appreciate that they use high-potency methylfolate (5-MTHF), which is more bioavailable. It is priced at £28.49 at the time of review for 60 days of supply, which I think is reasonable considering the quality.

These capsules are easy to swallow, and I haven't experienced any after taste or reflux after taking them. Their USP is that they contain the biologically active form of folate (vitamin B9) which is a naturally occurring form of folate that doesn't require conversion by the body to be utilised, unlike synthetic folic acid. I'm not sure how many people struggle with the standard, synthetic form of folic acid which can be bought very cheaply (from around 2p per 400ug tablet), but this may be the solution for those who do. It's a good product but pretty expensive (currently selling at a Prime price of £29.99 - 50p per dose). The price has lost stars from my review, unfortunately.
