Found my old Sega but obviously have a new TV since I last played it. Bought this lead and after connecting it it just worked !!!Looks good on my TV and very impressed with it. Spent the first day playing mega bomber man with my 10 year old son, took me back to the old days.

If you still have your old Megadrive knocking about then this is a great solution for hooking it up to a modern flat screen TV. Surprisingly decent video quality considering it's budget price. I like the way I can choose to have the proper 4:3 aspect ratio too - not all of us want the picture stretched to fill the entire screen! Simple but effective.Only slight annoyance is that it needs USB power so has an extra cable. You might be able to plug this into a spare USB port at the back of your TV but as I have several such old consoles (and adapters) hooked up to mine I've had to resort to a USB hub to power them all (and this).

This is an absolute game changer for playing mega drive on your hdmi TV. Picture quality is good and it's very easy to plug in. Toy can select different aspect ratios and switch between 720 and 1080 resolution. What I didn't realise until untried was it's fully compatible with my sega master system 1 aswell. So I'm happy that I can use it for that too. This is a must have if you want to run your old mega drive on modern tvs

Bild eingefroren
Leider kann ich all die 5 Sterne Rezensionen hier nicht teilen, denn ich bekomme nur ein eingefrorenes Bild, dabei verwende ich kein Adapterkabel sondern nur das Anschlusskabel direkt vom Adapter mit einer der Norm entsprechenden Anschlussbuchse. Mein ZX MAX 128 Spectrum Clone Harlekin hat eine entsprechende genormte Anschlussbuchse, aber dieser Adapter liefert nur ein eingefrorenes Bild. Mein KAICO MD1/MD2/NES funktioniert dagegen einwandfrei, den gibt es derzeit allerdings nicht mehr und dieser hier ist leider auch kein Ersatz dafür. Ob ein normaler Megadrive 1/2 mit den beigefügten Atapterkabeln funktioniert kann ich nicht testen, da ich keine dieser Konsolen mehr besitze, aber dass der Zwischenstecker nicht normgerecht sein sollte finde ich schon sonderbar und deshalb geht dieser Adapter auch wieder zurück.
