I’ve used other robot vacuum brands, but the Roomba Combo is on a whole different level though it’s not without its quirks.Unboxing & SetupRight out of the box, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of a proper printed user manual. I get that everything is online these days, but a basic quick-start guide would have been helpful. Even scanning the provided QR codes didn’t lead me to a straightforward manual—just app downloads and support pages. Thankfully, the setup was intuitive, and the robot was ready to go quickly. Finding the right spot for the docking station was key, especially since our home has multiple steps that the Roomba can’t navigate (no cliff detection issues, though!).Self-Emptying FeatureThe biggest upgrade with this model is the self-emptying station. No more daily dustbin checks! iRobot claims the station can hold up to 75 days of dirt before needing emptying—but let’s be real: that depends entirely on your home. If you have pets, long hair, or high foot traffic, you’ll need to empty it way sooner. Pet hair and litter crumbs can also start to smell over time, so I recommend cleaning the bin periodically rather than waiting the full 75 days. Still, not having to manually empty the robot after every run is a massive convenience.Mopping FunctionThe mopping feature is handy, with clear indicators on the station for clean/dirty water. However, iRobot’s suggestion to only replace pads and empty dirty water every four weeks feels unrealistic. In my experience, the water starts smelling after about a week, especially with pets. The integrated drying helps, but I still clean everything weekly to avoid odours. The included four mop pads are a nice touch, allowing quick swaps when needed.Smart Navigation & App ControlThe ClearView LiDAR navigation is impressive—the Roomba maps the house accurately, avoids obstacles, and cleans efficiently. The app lets you customize cleaning schedules, select mopping or vacuuming modes, and even set no-go zones. It’s great for automating cleaning while I’m at work.Floor Protection & Brush DesignThe rubberized brush is a standout feature, especially for homes with sensitive floors (like our high-gloss laminate). It doesn’t scratch, and the side brush helps with corners. Removing tangled hair is easy, though frequent cleaning is still necessary for pet owners.The Roomba Combo is a powerful, smart cleaning assistant with excellent suction and mopping capabilities. The self-emptying station is a huge plus, though maintenance is needed more often than advertised. The lack of a printed manual and the mopping station’s odour buildup are minor drawbacks. Still, if you want a hands-off cleaning experience (with some upkeep), this robot is worth the investment.

The iRobot Roomba 405 impresses right out of the box with a straightforward setup process. Connecting it to Wi-Fi and registering through the app was fast and frustration-free. The initial home mapping worked well, and the robot navigated around obstacles with ease, even in low light.When it comes to cleaning performance, this robot does an excellent job on both vacuuming and mopping. The suction is powerful enough to pick up everything from pet hair to fine dust, and the dual mop pads provide a deep, satisfying scrub.The dirty water reservoir has good capacity, often lasting several weeks before needing a change. Despite regular cleaning runs, the battery life holds up exceptionally well, with one charge easily covering a full downstairs clean with plenty of power left.Surprisingly, even my dogs are unbothered by the robot, which is a big plus for pet owners.However, the software experience is where things start to unravel. While the initial map creation is smooth, tweaking maps often results in frustrating errors - naming rooms, merging spaces, or setting up Keep Out and Clean Zones regularly triggers vague messages like “Something went wrong”. The app map frequently lags or stops respondng, and automation features are disappointingly basic, offering no ability to customise settings after initial setup beyond timings.Support has been underwhelming, acknowledging known issues but offering no immediate fix other than promises of a future update. This is an incredible cleaning solution for automating mopping and cleaning your floors. The roomba is a robot vacuum which can cleanup crumbs, sand and dirt. The suction is strong enough to clear up dirt that's heavier, however if the dirt is across a small area it also has brushes which can sweep the dirt directly towards the vacuum. This roomba also has the ability to mop the flowers with its dual clean mop pads which rotate while applying pressure on the floor making sure that dirt and marks are clearly removed from the floor by deeply scrubbing them out. The mop also uses water or the cleaning solution filled in and is great for cleaning up sticky spills like coffee or slightly oily floors.This roomba also comes with an auto wash dock which automates a lot of the cleaning process and does a lot of the maintenance for this roomba. The dock automates the pad refreshing including washing and drying. The refreshing cycle of the dock is dependent on your use as it is based on the size of the room and the cleaning cycle. The cleaning cycle can be completely customised by the app which allows you to set the level of suction, set repeated pathways, set multiple scrubbing cycles or a deep clean cycle for arrears which are prone to get dirtier quicker.The roombas incredible smart mapping LiDAR system is excellent. It detects obstacles and avoids them while cleaning the messes, this saves on energy and also the cleaning liquid over time making it very efficient for cleaning larger areas in a shorter time without damaging the roomba.

Je suis très contente de mon I robotColis livré en 2 jours. Très bien emballé et carton robuste. Le robot et accessoires sont bien calés à l’intérieur.Dans le carton : on a l’explication de l’installation initiale du robot et de sa base et comment l’installer rapidement par étape (voir photo). Il est livré avec 4 lingettes en micro fibre (on en a donc 2 de rechange) et deux sacs à poussière. Dommage que l’on ait pas un échantillon de produit de nettoyage pour tester.Il faut télécharger l’application qui est assez conviviale et nous invite à cartographier la maison. J’ai pu donner un nom à mon robot qui fait maintenant partie du foyer.J’ai fait plusieurs essais car l’application a eu du mal à se connecter à ma WIFI. Une fois ce problème résolu, il m’a fait une jolie carte de mes pièces.Il faut compter une bonne heure d’installation du robot avant de pouvoir l’utiliser.Je peux ensuite à partir de l’application, gérer mes routines de nettoyage et mes préférences : aspiration seule ou avec lavage, pour tout l’appartement ou alors les pièces que je sélectionne.C’est très facile à gérer et pourtant je ne suis pas une geek.Mon robot a mis deux heures pour nettoyer mon appartement de 80 m² : aspiration + lavage. L’appartement a été nickel ensuite. Je suis vraiment très satisfaite du travail réalisé.Il arrive à différencier les différents sols : il détecte le tapis et se met en mode aspiration sur le tapis et reprend lavage sur parquet et carrelage.Il passe les barres de seuil sans problème. Par contre, il n’est pas à l’aise avec les franges de tapis de plus de 2 cm et embarque avec lui le tapis car les franges sont coincées dans la brosse.On peut lui indiquer des zones interdites pour éviter ce type de soucis.Il a trouvé sa place dans ma maison même si je n’ai pas pu le mettre sous un meuble.Il arrive à contourner obstacle comme chaise ou tabouret et les contourne. Il tente toutefois de se glisser dans espace entre chaises pour aller sous table.L’application est assez simple à utiliser toutefois elle rame un peu et il y aura des perfections à apporter comme par exemple contraste pour délimiter les zones.Il est assez silencieux sauf quand il retourne à la base pour vider poussière mais c’est très court.Le dosage de l’eau sur serpillère est parfait, même sur parquet, cela sèche très vite.Pas de traces de passage, le sol est nickel.Le fait qu’il aspire et lave en un seul passage permet un gain de temps. Le système de séchage des lingettes est pas mal aussi, quoiqu’un peu long (4 heures minimum).On peut suivre en direct l’évolution du robot sur l’application que l’on soit à coté ou hors de son domicile. On peut même le connecter à enceinte connectée pour le programmer.

Habe 9 Saugroboter (alle irobot) und mir nun diesen Saug-/Wischroboter für die untere Etage gegönnt :-) Beste Entscheidung! Die Hundehaare und im Küchenbereich sämtliche Flecken werden einwandfrei entfernt. Die kartierung lief problemlos und die Einstellung der Aktivitäten ist zuverlässig. Jeden Abend reinigt er gründlich und morgens starte ich entspannt in den Tag weil alles sauber ist.Einzig, die Kanten nimmt er beim wischen nicht richtig mit, was das Modell 505 aber jetzt kann mit den ausfahrbaren Reinigungspads. Aber das ist eben modellbedingt.Die Saugleistung ist sehr gut, das Wischen ohne schlieren, er meldet zuverlässig wenn nachgefüllt oder entleert werden muss und die Pads wechsle ich regelmäßig und wasche sie durch.Würde beim nächsten Mal die 505 kaufen aber so langlebig wie meine anderen Modelle sind wird er wohl noch lange seine Dienste tun 😅. Absolute Empfehlung, enorme arbeitserleichternd in stark frequentierten Räumen die man häufig nass reinigen muss.

Il fait plutôt bien son job…

Après presque une journée complète pour la mise en route (installation, mises à jour, configuration), le robot fait plutôt bien son travail ! Il aspire et lave efficacement, et son niveau sonore reste raisonnable dans une pièce de vie. En revanche, le bruit devient très important lors du vidage automatique.Le vrai point faible selon moi, c’est l’application : elle est lente, peu réactive, et plante régulièrement. Pour un appareil de cette gamme, c’est vraiment décevant.Autre souci : ma maison comporte une marche entre deux pièces. En mode aspiration, le robot gère sans problème. Mais en mode lavage, il doit retourner régulièrement à sa base pour laver ses lingettes. Et comme il ne parvient pas à y revenir à cause de la marche, il se bloque, se met en erreur, et interrompt le cycle.J’ai tenté de déplacer la base dans l’autre pièce pour contourner le problème, mais là, c’était pire : le robot s’est complètement désorienté. J’ai dû tout réinitialiser pour pouvoir m’en resservir.Résultat : je dois sortir mon torchon pour laver une seule pièce, ce qui est frustrant vu l’investissement.À moins d’acheter une base supplémentaire (ce qui représente un coût non négligeable), le robot ne peut pas fonctionner de manière optimale dans une maison à plusieurs niveaux.➡️ En résumé : un robot globalement performant, mais clairement pas pensé pour les logements avec des marches. Et une application à revoir sérieusement. Un peu déçue au vu du prix

De roomba zat goed verpakt en was makkelijk te installeren. De app vertelde precies wat je moet doen en het was binnen no time geïnstalleerd. De robot maakt een kaart van je huis en is heel makkelijk te bedienen via de app ook op afstand. Dit maakt het huishouden veel makkelijker. Je kan ook in de app aangeven welke kamer er moet worden gestofzuigd of worden gedweild. Daarnaast heb je ook opties voor lichte/medium/grondige schoonmaak. Het fijne is de robot gaat tussendoor naar cleaningstation om de pads te reinigen. Ik dacht dat me vloer schoon was totdat ik het water zag . Ik ben heel blij met deze aankoop.

Tengo 2 peques en casa y la suciedad en el suelo es infinita y desde que ha llegado me ha quitado muchísimo trabajo, además,la posibilidad de aspirar y fregar todos los días favorece que mi marido no tenga tantas crisis alergicas.Gracias a su aplicación puedes seleccionar ,bloquear ....zonas de limpieza y al finalizar también puedes comprobar exactamente por donde ha limpiado.Algo que también nos ha gustado mucho ha sido su habilidad en el mapeo, de forma muy rápida teniamos en la aplicación el plano de nuestra casa, en una primera pasada puede haber alguna zona que se le escape pero conforme va realizando limpiezas va perfeccionando los planos.Algo que nos parece super cómodo es el auto limpiado de robot.Cuando inicia su trabajo de fregado el robot vuelve tantas veces como necesite a la base para limpiarse , lo que te asegura que limpie en profundidad y no deja marcas de agua en el suelo, cuando termina su trabajo vuelve a la base realiza la limpieza y luego procede al secado de mopas, este proceso es un poco largo.Otro punto a su favor es que no hace mucho ruido, es muy llevadero .Para una casa de tamaño medio (80 Metros) la batería es más que suficiente
