Taking these for London marathon training. If you like Vimto as I do this tastes exactly the same, it’s less thick that alternatives like Lucazade so easy to consume. Essential for runs over 8 miles.

I been purchasing these via a retailer who no longer stocks them and went in to panic mode as they are great for my long runs. I have a 1/2 and full marathon coming up in the next few month and with 20+ miles on a Sundays for my long runs I really needed these. They don’t upset my stomach like others I have tried and they get me through those hard miles. With these I am paying less than half the cost too that I had been paying the retailer.

23g of carbs delivered by maltodextrin so be careful if you're diabetic - it has a high glycemic index.The blackcurrant flavouring is really nice.It's quite sweet thanks to the sucralose - personally I'd be happier without this additive as I don't like the taste, but these are meant to be functional so I can live with it.Pack of 20 for £16, so 80p a sachet which is quite reasonable.

These go bad really quickly - develop acidic gas and swell up in their little sachets after a couple of weeks stored in a cupboard at room temp... Best befores are well into 2026 so this shouldn't happen.
