On first try these seemed easy to use but they didn’t quite work. Even though we made thick lines and shapes as it explains it seemed a little watery than it needed to be. Also the plastic sheet was slightly bent so the paint/gel moved whilst drying which affected the outcome. Good price for a fun craft but maybe on more attempts we will get a better outcome.

These Galt jelly stickers sound like great fun on paper, but we found them to be messy and didn’t look or work as great as we’d hoped.In the box you get 7 colours, 6 are in thin tubes with the black colour in a slightly larger bottle. You get 8 googly eyes, 2 cellophane sheets and a user guide.Using this set was very awkward and not easy for my 6 and 10 year old sons.Our first issue was that the pages you cut out from the book and the clear plastic sheets didn’t fit well in to the guide holes in the box. We ended up having to cut the holes wider in order for them to fit. These guide holes are there so you can fit the pages and plastic sheets together so they don’t move as you paint.Then we found that you really can’t make these stickers neatly as the paint is too runny. It says to layer the paint on thick but it’s very difficult to do as it starts to spill out of the lines.The black paint on the fries was the only picture where the paint didn’t run as much but the colours still bled in to each other.It would seem the best way to create these stickers is to first draw the black outline and then let it dry. The only issue with this is that you’d have to wait hours before adding the coloured parts. That really isn’t much fun for kids if you have to wait for each section to dry.Once each of the pictures dried, they did peel off the plastic ok. They feel very thin though and a couple of them were on the verge of ripping as we peeled them off the plastic.As you can see from the cup sticker, the colours bled and ran but it does stick well on to the window.Sadly, this set ended up being more frustrating than fun. And whilst both my kids initially found it fun, they hated how runny and messy it ended up being and how you had to wait hours for the paint to dry before they could finish them.

Great fun craft kit for my kids to complete on a rainy day at home. The colours are bright and the finished products look great. Easy to use and well packaged.

I would not say these are great for children, or even adults.I initially liked the concept as my toddler loves stickers and thought this would be the perfect activity for us to do.First off, the black paint is extremely difficult to squeeze out of the tube, my toddler was not able to do this easily. The black paint is very thick and therefore was also difficult to draw around the printed stencils.The colours are vibrant enough when initially colouring in the design, however the consistency is very watery and no matter what, the colours bled though into the black outline ruining the picture every time.The googly eyes that this kit came with would not stay on top of the paint and would slide around.You also need to wait at least 24 hours for the "stickers" to fully dry before you can peel them off the plastic sheet.The overall finish is like coloured glass - basically not opaque, more translucent, and because the colours ran, none of the designs turned out well enough.I also wouldn't say these were "stickers", more jelly which comes off many things quite easily. My toddler has stuck her's to the car window and they seem to have stayed put.Overall, I wouldn't waste your money on these, they are frustrating to use even as an adult and they just don't work.

This is a fun activity but it definitely needs adult supervision and assistance as it is quite fiddly. Squeezing the paint out is difficult and dealing with the paint which is quite runny is tricky. The templates are fun but you don’t have to stick to them, and can just use your own imagination, which is what we ended up doing.You also need to leave the sheets to dry for quite a while, so again this is where adult input is needed as an impatient child may not be able to try and peel the stickers off before they are done.All in all, a fun activity to keep the kids busy for an hour but it’s not as easy as I expected. Reasonable value though.

Needs an older child or an adult working closely alongside for this to have a chance of working. we had a try with our son and managed to create a sort of shape which then took a very long time to dry. Child found the waiting a bit hard and lost interest but we found after about 24 hours it hads dried enough to peel, and then the problem of where to stick them. After looking at other reviews for ideas we tried the lounge window and it actually works well as a glass sticker like that. I think with practice we will improve but our first efforts left a bit to be desired.

Whilst this craft seemed like a great idea, the reality was a disappointing mess. I have a perfectionist 7 year old who got increasingly frustrated that her design spread and an impatient 5 year old who could not wait for it to dry and ruined it in the process! Love the idea but quicker drying and less spreadable paint is needed.
