Since I worked in retail many years ago, I’ve always wanted one of these (weird, huh?)Though mainly used as a price label gun, the 8 dials can be set to just numbers if required, so you can list item numbers as well as prices in various currencies.This item came pre-loaded with a label roll, plus a pack of ten more rolls and two replacement ink rollers.Great piece of retro kit.

Item cost me €16.59 but one of the number dials did not turn, product quality is very poor and flimsy. I filled a return label and went to the post office to send It back but the postal cost was €13. I did not send It back so I have lost my money on this product, I have bought a lot on Bolo prime over the years and think I have only returned one Item in the past. This product is more like a Childs toy,

The machine is great, it's made out of plastic but it's solid and doesn't seem like it will break anytime soon, even though the red colour is not my favourite, I think I can live with that. One roll of stickers was included within the price, which is definitely helpful.

This pricing gun arrives in a easy to recycle retail style cardboard box. Inside the box is one gun, which is made from a bright red ABS plastic. It doesn't feel like it's the greatest quality product.Not something that would survive more than a few drops onto a shop floor. But with care it should be OK for a while. Plus it does come preloaded with a roll of labels, so it's instantly ready to use.All you need to do is pull out and turn the black right hand button to your desired settings. Something you do in stages for each one of the dials and is really easy to do. Literally something you can do without reading with any instructions.Which is handy because there wasn't any instructions in the box. Though despite that the dial settings are surprisingly comprehensive. As well as offering upto 7 numbers from nothing, zero to nine, there's also various currencies avalable from dollars, yen, UK pounds and euro symbols.So this is really is a universal tool, something that can be used for counting inventory as well as pricing items. However the lack of instructions inside the box is mildly problematic in other ways. Fortunately I found a video on youtube which showed me how to do this.Just search for "Loading Price Gun Labels into an MX5500-EOS Price Gun". Equally fortunate, especially for my wallet, is this also contains a very large roll of labels, so you won't run out anytime soon. Plus there's two ink rollers included, which is handy as while replacement rollers are easy to obtain they can be expensive.With some replacements costing more than this gun does! Another option is, because the roller is partly made from foam, you could always try to add a few drops of something like a black printer ink. Either way, despite this being plastic with expensive accessories, it's still a good pricing gun. One that's averagely priced and is a lot cheaper than metal versions.

The media could not be loaded. A good budget tag gun for small business or for household usage in general: I don't consider this particular gun is going to be practical for a big store, where you have to swap prices all the time and use it extensively on a daily basis. The tag gun is very lightweight and comfortable, but it doesn't feel and look solid - so keep this in mind, however it comes ready to print out tags with pre-installed tag roll and ink barrel. In order to get a good print you have to dip the digit belts in the ink, so you have to roll them around at least two-three times and print out some practice tags. Setting the digits is a bit laborious as they are quite narrow and at first my hand wasn't used to the amount of force it takes to move the pointer left and right, so it took me some time to adjust and even now I often skip the position and have to go back. In this regard I don't have particular issue as I use it for a set price and don't have to change digits all the time, but if you do that - it's not the easiest thing and it'll take time to get used to it. Once the digits are adjusted and the knob is pushed the action aligns them automatically: the gun is ready to print tags. The digits are different for the first two columns (first one: currencies such as yen, pound, euro, american dollar, russian ruble, bitcoin, expiry date and some others; second one: 0-9, LT, no.) and pretty much the same for the other columns (with some variations - kg, g, cents, percent, point and others); each column contains a mirror image duplicates of the present digits in the column. I'm currently still on the first tag roll and haven't noticed occurring issues: the ink dries out quickly and prints out well every time, the feeding mechanism works well too. The tag gun comes with 5000 additional tags (ten spare rolls) and two ink barrels with general instructions on the gun itself.

We're in the process of clearing out our house and have been selling things at car boot and table top sales as part of that. We've found that people find it much easier if we put prices on things, so I picked up this price gun to make it a less onerous task for us!The kit includes everything you need - an already-loaded price gun, spare ink, and plenty of labels. The gun itself is lightweight but sturdy, so it's easy to sit and spend a decent amount of time pricing things up.I’ve been able to save loads of time thanks to how hassle-free it is!
