Works, and is not going back!

Got him this afternoon, and he has only tackled my French windows so far. But well, he works, he is not going back! No need to install an app, press a button and off he goes. He sticks to the window. He works his way round. He does not leave streaks. He is easy to operate. Not perfect. He does not get right into the edges. My panes are a bit narrow so he can fail to cover all the pane - I just start him again and he will then find the missing areas. Does not scrub off marks, but that does not seem to matter. He is just dragging a cloth over the glass, and occasionally spraying cleaner, but this does actually do the job (my windows looked awful on the outside, we live in the countryside so dirty and rain marked, and he cleaned them fine). Bit noisy with the suction, as expected, no more than many hoovers, no need for ear muffs but you could not have it on and have a conversation. He does not change his own mops, fill up his own cleaning fluid or levitate between panes, of course... And I would prefer it if he sounded like a man rather than a woman, wonder if I can change that on the app. Like Dave and Charlie, my robot floor hoover and mop/hoover, I do like to think of them as cleaning men rather than cleaning ladies. And now I could not do without them. If he does inside (including glass stair panels) and outside less than twice only in his life he will have saved me money on a real window cleaner. And in general I am x2 faster as I can clean my windows while doing something else at the same time. Will update if it stops working!

It has a power cable that has to be plugged in - it is not cordless.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly, I had a really hard time deciding which robot to buy because I don't trust online reviews. As a genuine customer, I hope this helps you.I was unsure about how well this would work as I couldn't see how it would stay on the window or how it would provide a streak-free clean - it does both! I was amazed. It was also a lot quicker than I thought it would be.I bought because we could not reach our back bedroom windows after having an extension. Climbing onto the roof was not an option. I needed to use the robot outside which was another factor that ruled some other machines out. To be honest, I would have preferred a cordless one, but the suction was greater with the ones that had a power cord. The cord is long enough to allow the robot to clean my windows but an extension cable would sort the issue if not. I only use the safety rope when using it outside. There doesn't seem any point using it inside unless you tether it to the curtain pole so it doesn't drop.It came with cleaning solution and they say to only use theirs, but I think I will use my own eventually, as this could be expensive in the long run. I was surprised though how little it used so the initial bottle will last some time.The app set up was very simple and the robot talks to you so you know what to do - you can change the language in the app.Overall I am delighted with the product and very impressed with its results.

I bought this ECOVACS WINBOT MINI window cleaning robot after seeing the bigger version in use, as my sister has one. I have a much smaller house so didn’t need the bigger model. I absolutely love this little bot! It is so easy to use on the inside of my windows. It can leave the odd streak but I left a lot more when cleaning them myself and these are easy to remove.The only negative is that it doesn’t clean the smaller windows. The price of the replacement pads and liquid I do feel could be a bit less expensive. Hence only 4*.I know the price is on the higher side but for me no more ladders or stretching unsteadily is a definite bonus as I am in my 70’s and don’t want to fall.

Short life of the machine

I bought Ecovacs winbot mini window cleaning robot in Oct 25. The first and second times were working good. However, I tried to clean my windows today (21 Jan 26) and the nozzles did not spray anything liquid. It is the third time I used it. Very disappointed. I would like to get a replacement .

You fix it to the window and watch IT working instead of you having to.

After a bit of time setting up this machine, it worked well and did a good job.It is quite pricey, but it’s fairly robust and I expect it to last for many years.It was difficult to measure the amount of cleaning fluid and the bottle was made from very stiff plastic and difficult to squeeze.I was able to lift it with ease.

A complete waste of time and energy

Winbot Mini first day of use:I bought this for only five windows at the back of my third floor flat, which are impossible to clean without the chance of me falling out.First three 30" windows cleaned well (though at night with lights on I can see they are very streaky).By the fourth window the bot started ignoring the top right hand quarter of the window. I recleaned the four corner sensors between each window (time and again) and the flannel wipe (time and again), but each time the bot became less and lessactive, eventually just staying in the middle or corner of the window saying it was stuck. It worked on remote control but then it wentback to sticking afterwards. I tried all cleaning modes but same story each time. Now the bot cleans only the lower middle of the glass, badly, swinging right but never left.Basically it's useless.I started cleaning at 3:00pm and just gave up at 8:30pm, trying to sort it out. Such a waste of time and very, very frustrating.Also the next day the abundance of streaks even on the first well cleaned windows make this purchase a big waste of money.

Love this did not need to on line or load on phone will work either way but I preferred to use it manually cleans super inside and out.

Make sure you check your window size as some uk windows are too small, especially up stairs windows. I had a problem but I contacted Ecovac via the app and it was soon sorted very good customer service 👍
