Great value for money

This is a really good freeze dried sweet selection with lots of your favourite sweets included in both packs.You get two packs: one sweet and one sour. Some of the sweets perhaps look a little odd bursting out of the packets but it helps to identify them. There’s a good range of sizes and flavours in this pack so it’s a good introduction to freeze dried sweets.This type of sweet normally costs at least £8 per pack so this is very good value for money priced at £12.99 (at the time of review) for two packs.

Bit disappointed with this one, to be honest. The packaging felt a little cheap, and some of the sweets were broken or crushed when they arrived.Taste-wise, they were far too sweet for our liking – even the “sour” mix didn’t have much tang to balance things out. The texture was interesting, but overall it just didn’t hit the mark.Nice idea, and maybe fun for TikTok fans, but sadly not something we’d buy again.

I was pleasantly surprised that I liked these - kept going back for more especially the vimto and refreshers ones! The kids loved these too, they’re very moreish. Love that they’re vegan friendly too as my sister was able to have some. The skittles ones aren’t all that different from normal skittles taste but the rest are very nice with a satisfying crunch - I thought freeze dried sweets would be chalky but thankfully they’re not! Would definitely try again especially the vimtos

The selection of sweets are pleasant but the partly left wrappers do look a bit off-putting. Though I understand it would take more time to remove the wrappers first I think it would lead to a cleaner and appealing product. The textures are interesting and can be a bit dusty. It is a fun experience that is fun to try at least once. For most of the candy I prefer the original form. The skittles for example have a fun texture but the flavour a bit odd in my opinion. the fresher chew bars are amazing and the flavour is strong. Bit pricy if you compare to the original but it is a labor intensive product and nice as an occasional treat rather than an everyday thing.

Munch-o-licious Freeze Dried Candy 1 Sweet Mix & 1 Sour Mix -Sweet Vegan & Halal Pick and Mix Sweets - .....These are expensive packs of sweets, probably because they tick all the boxes, Vegan, Halal, Gluten Free, but full of colourings, syrups, and all sorts of chemicals, just look at the back of the pack for a long list of contents!Presentation is not good, I opened both packets and found lots of sweets powder, fragments and broken pieces. Some of the ‘packeted’ sweet bars were broken and open, not only that but the wrappers were partly missing, not even in loose in the bag, giving the impression they are seconds or rejected sweets that have been packaged up. I understand this is because the freeze-drying method causes the sweets to expand and burst through packets etc.On to the actual sweets, they taste great, sour and sweet, some a bit fizzy, just like the real thing. The sweets are hard and brittle due to the freeze-drying process no doubt, which explains why there were so many broken fragments and sweet powder in the packet. Once bitten, they dissolve into a tiny chewy piece before disappearing completely, the texture and feel is like a honeycomb meringue, fluffy but hard.In conclusion, poor presentation, broken, smashed sweets, some with partial wrappers etc. The sweets are made from a bunch of chemicals, sugars, and colouring. Very tasty though, and with an unusual and pleasant texture however I cannot see how any of this justifies the high price.A novelty item but such a high price!
