Our firestick remote stopped working and needed a replacement. This worked inmediately after following the instructions provided which were very straightforward and easy to follow. Even the volume controls worked instantly. The power was a bit more difficult as it needed a remote with an ir sensor to emulate the frequency, our modern samsung TV came with two remotes, the more modern one could not be emulated but thankfully the older one worked fine. Overall, very easy to setup and use but may need some troubleshooting if a part doesn’t work.

This replacement fire stick remote is outstanding.The build quality appears to be exactly like the original remote – I can't comment on durability, as I only set it up yesterday.As far as the set up was concerned, the remote was connected in less than a minute once the fire stick had been powered on. It then took a further two minutes or so to set up the volume controls for my LG TV. The prompts are very easy to follow and most of the process is automatic.If you are looking for a replacement check that your fire stick is compatible from the description and if so, I would not hesitate to purchase this one!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Doesn’t actually work. Bought another from somewhere else which worked perfectly fine. Don’t waste money on this one.

ILEBYGO Fire Stick Remote Replacement CV98LM.My original remote works perfectly with my Sony TV but this so called equivalent will not but other than that it does work fine with the firestick. I have tried pairing my TV and I am unable to. Using same method I can pair my original and TV remote control is perfect.As the TV is often used with headphones the volume is set via the headphone controls and as cheap (get what you pay for!) I decided to keep this.I have this as a second controller only but cannot recommend this if you need full TV control.
