Purchase was as described and well worth the price paid, will work for all indoor and outdoor uses, from replacing a lightbulb to clearing guttering outside, light enough to move around easily, and strong enough to feel safe while using.

Extremely lightweight but sturdy enough for me (all 6' 3" of me) to stand on the one-from-top tread as I checked my guttering on my bungalow.Being aluminium they don't rust and can be kept behind the shed until needed. As they are so light, it means that their weight is no longer an obstacle to getting them out and using them (something that was definitely the case with the predecessor set of heavy, steel step ladder I had).I only had them a few months so I can't tell how their longevity will be but I feel confident that they will give me the service I need for those essential DIY jobs around the house.Did I mention how light they were? Easily carried with just one hand. Buy again: Yes, but probably won't have toRecommend to a friend: Yes

LOOKS QUITE NICE, DID NOT GIVE 5 STAR BECAUSE THE ORANGE COVER IS NOT AS EXPECTED HARD PLASTIC BUT IN FACT A RUBBERY COVER. RATHER THE HARDER PLASTIC. VERY STURDY, FOLDS AWAY OK, SHOULD ENABLE MY WIFE TO SHARE THE CHORES A CLEAN A FEW WINDOWS DOWNSTAIRS WHILST I DO THE UPPER.
