5.0 out of 5 stars Quality bit of Kit
If like me, you already have an impact driver/wrench, you'll know it's at times frustrating given it only has the 1/2 socket attachment, meaning you have to have a set of adapters for 1/4 and 1/8 sockets, and another adapter if you want to use driver bits instead, which is a bit of a pain. Hence, when I saw this, I was keen to try it out.First impressions are good, as you would expect from a Bosch Pro tool. The build quality and balance is top draw, and feels very comfortable in the hand, It should be noted however, you only get the tool here, without the battery, so you will need to buy one separately.Once of the key USP's for me is the 2-in-1 GDX toolholder, capable of screw-driving and bolting, which means you can slot on driver bits directly, rather than having to use an adapter. Perfect for most jobs where screwing is the default. Otherwise it takes 1/2 sockets directly, where you'll need your adapter for 1/4 and 1/8 sizes.Power wise this as 285 Nm max torque and 500 Nm breakaway for untightening tasks, which is a lot! There are not many things that can resist that much force to break them free, but you need a very firm grip to hold it, or brace it against something solid! In my testing, it coped with everything I threw at it.There are two speed settings, too, which make perfect sense for screwing and more delicate work.Another big plus point is the brushless motor, which means more power, and more reliability, and should last for years, even with day in day out use.Overall, this is certainly not cheap by any means, but for professional use this makes perfect sense, and there really is nothing to fault this product, highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Premium Tool
I've recently invested in a Bosch drill and therefore had a couple of batteries already making this a great pickup. My old tools have always been Makita LXT and this is a totally different league of tool, its got more power (though my old impact wrench was brushed so its a few generations old at least) and way more settings. The ability for the tool to detect that its broken loose a fastener and stop the tool before spinning the nut free and loosing it is excellent. The tool feels great in the hand, though I have to say I expected it to be shorter than it is, and there are a couple of things that are a little annoying.. The light (a single LED just above the trigger) is just OK, and really annoying is the wrist strap which is permanently (unless you cut it) attached to the tool. I wish this was removeable. Its also near impossible to get a hand through it with a glove on.. its just not big enough.Everything feels well built with a nice weight to it, and I really like the ability to use a 6mm bit in the centre of the 1/2" Drive, I'm not sure why no one else has duplicated this idea.If you are already ion the Bosch ecosystem, this is probably not a bad buy, I guess time will tell how well this lasts, its early to say at the minute.
3.0 out of 5 stars Mehh
Great tool but the trigger is very bad it engage half way you pay more for a arguably worse product the only thing it has is the higher torque.
5.0 out of 5 stars A lot of power for such a compact drill
This is very impressive. The build quality is excellent, the controls are easy to access / use and it has a punishing amount of power that is easy to control. The 2 in 1 chuck is excellent and i found no issues switching between 1/4" hex for screwdriver bits and the 1/2" square drive for decent sized sockets. I also like the position of the LED light which is seated low enough you don't get a massive shadow when in use. It's driven all the screws i've tried with ease, even some very chunky DeWalt Flanged Screwbolts into brickwork. What surprised me most though was on my car. I'm heavily into the Makita system and i've tried some of their impact wrenches with very mixed results. I've had the 12V which was next to useless for wheel nuts and the 18V model i used was inconsistent at best. This thing blasted off my cars nuts with ease consistently and the ABR* mode on this particular model meant they were a controlled release instead of spinning off onto the ground.*Automatic Bolt Release, as soon as the nut / bolt is free it stops rotating even if still fully depressing the trigger. It's fantastic and means things don't go flying off or falling down if you're not quick enough to release the trigger. At first i couldn't get it to engage though having only had a cursory look at the manual, to use it you need to be in reverse gear then its selectable.Compared to my usual Makita 18V impact drill this is a bruiser. It's still very nicely balanced and comfy in the hand, but it has more power behind it which was clear from the wheel nut testing which my Makita has no chance with. Even with the power of this, the motor still sounds really smooth and refined. The same goes for the brake which is rapid and its all contained in a surprising compact package.Overall this does a bit of everything and it does it all really well.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very impressive with a punch to match
A very well made bit of kit, very light to handle and compact enough that it will get into most spaces that other brand models wont. A big upgrade from the 215 model is that in addition to the 1/4" bits, this will take 1/2" as well so far better stability when using larger type sockets.Have had no issues so far driving screws or bolts into wood, masonry or metal. The 500NM release is fantastic though, this has taken off bolts that my other driver wouldn't look at even with tins of WD40 applied. The variable speed also makes it easy so that bolts etc. don't spin off quickly and disappear.**This a bare item though, do be aware that no batteries or charger is supplied with this**

Bisher Top Gerät
The media could not be loaded.
