So many foods have poultry fat or similar hidden amongst the ingredients which is no good for my dog who has intolerances.This food has a good fishy smell (I have no idea why people complain about this as it is what it is and obviously proves it has a good amount in!! - I also like that it’s responsibly sourced)My dog LOVES this food. The kibble is triangular sized and not too big or too small. Her coat is lovely and shiny and her poops are firm.Good choice of bag sizes and excellent value for money considering the quality. I have come to really trust and rely upon this brand after trying MANY others.

I’ve been feeding my dog, Lily, James Wellbeloved Adult Duck & Rice for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic choice. We initially chose it because it’s a relatively low-fat option, which is important for Lily’s diet, and it’s been perfect for her. She absolutely loves it – mealtimes are her favourite part of the day, and the food keeps her healthy and suits her digestion really well.Another thing I appreciate about James Wellbeloved is the variety of flavours available. It’s great to be able to mix things up for Lily, giving her some variety while sticking with a high-quality, trusted brand.I use Bolo’s Subscribe and Save for ordering, which has been brilliant. The food is delivered right to my door, saving me the effort of carrying heavy bags, and it’s competitively priced. With Subscribe and Save, it’s even more affordable, offering excellent value for money.I’d highly recommend this food to other dog owners. Lily and I are both very happy with it!

I have a lot of pets in my house, the numbers go up and down as I foster, but I also I have 6 permanent residents. None of them are fussy eaters as rescue don't tend to be, but lots of them have belly issues from scavenging , out of which 3 have particularly sensitive bellies now. Over the years I went through quite a few brands in search for a perfect balance between quality and price as having so many makes it tough on wallet, but also didn't want to feed them anything poor quality. I found this brand perfect for my needs and all the animals seems to really like it.Fish flavor seems to be particularly strong hit with them, for both cats and dogs, but bear in mind it is quite stinky, which is to be expected really and probably a part of the reason why they like it so much.Buying in bulk is always wallet-friendly. I buy 10-15kg bags and keep them in cold and dry storage. The bags doesn't really closes as that mechanism is quite poorly made, although not a massive bother, I just roll it up and put something heavy on top so it doesn't unroll. Never had any issues with the food loosing flavor or bugs, but it also doesn't really have time to happen as I usually go through 2 bags a month. I have recommended this brand to multiple people who ask me for advise as their pets don't eat well/ have belly troubles. They all went for it and been very pleased with the change, so I feel comfortable recommending it.There is so many options and diets for pets out there, some people go raw, some go particular food. There's no one size fits all, so please bear that in mind and if you change your animal food to any brand/style then please make sure you do it gradually. Over a course of minimum a week mix increasing ratio of new food to old food starting with no more than 1/4 new to 3/4 old. No matter if you go raw/kibble, it 's always good to mix vegetables into your dog food to keep them healthy (if they are not fans of veggies just cut them in small bits).
