We needed a 28mm carburettor for an older (1960's) 250cc two stroke engine project but the issue was that it's an opposed twin, basically both cylinders fire at the same time and are fuelled by a central crankcase mounted reed valve. This means the carburettor needs to deliver much more fuel than a parallel twin cylinder engine of the same capacity needs with its cylinders firing alternatively.With the above said, some modern carburettors do work quite well on both 2T and 4T engines and like this BAISUYA come supplied with a variation of atomisers and jets to enable you to get the best tune that you can out of it.We popped this 28mm BAISUYA PWK carburettor apart and took some review pictures so you can see just how well it's made, to be honest for the purchase price of £26.99 the BAISUYA is extremely well made and for most machines up to around 150cc it shouldn't require too much tinkering to get a good result.Because the BAISUYA comes equipped with a power jet, setting up for a two stroke should be easier especially on the mid range throttle setting but again we are talking about 125c to 150cc sized engines. For our engine we are going to have to make some alterations to this carburettor but that's fine as we knew this would be the case when we ordered it! When faced with spending around £140.00 on a Dellorto or £26.99 on the BAISUYA we opted for the BAISUYA, we may have to machine a couple of parts ourselves, maybe the atomiser shield will be one of those parts but we'll find out as we go along.All said and done you get a lot of quality for your money with this carburettor, whether you want something to bolt straight on a your 125 or something to mess around with and modify for a project then this BAISUYA is a really good option.An impressed five stars for build quality and price.

There are no instructions included with this carburettor, however, I would imagine that it’d only be bought by people who knew what they were doing!I found that fitting it to my Suzuki 125 was very easy, self explanatory in fact. The issues came with the tuning. For that I resorted to YouTube where there are a plethora of hints and advice to achieve perfect performance.There are a lot of carburettors similar to this for sale on Bolo, the vast majority being more expensive. The only differences appear to be in the finish of the pricier ones. They all seem more glittery, garbed in brighter colours to atttact, but to me looks don’t matter-it’s the performance that counts. And performance is what you get from this Baisuya carburettor.
