Would recommend this, especially if you want to impress friends/family, they won't believe you cooked it yourself it's that good

Easy to use kit - you just need to add your own protein and veggies and oil. Takes around 45 mins and makes a delicious family meal.Little pricey compared to others hence the dropping of 1 star due to not being the most amazing value

The pack has everything you need except the oil and other fresh ingredients needed to make a delicious Tikka Massala curry.I followed the steps on the pack and about 40 minutes later we had a delicious curry ready to eat!I am super impressed with this spice mix, it is even seasoned well so there's no need to add any salt. I would say to only keep the 1 teaspoon of spice mix for the sauce - I kept back more like 1-2 tablespoons of the spices and the sauce was far too spicey, even with extra double cream and sugar at the end. Lesson learnt there!The Tikka massala is marked as 1 chilli heat wise on the pack (mild), but I would put it at more of a medium but I don't think it's blow your head off spicy like the madras!Yes the pack of spicey is quite pricey, but it produces a tasty end result and is easy to make at home, certainly quicker than waiting for a takeaway to be delivered! In fact, I'd say that the day after I made this the kitchen smelt like we'd had a takeaway so very close to the "real" thing!

Tikka masala is one of my absolute favourite foods but I have never attempted to make it at home…until now! I used this sachet of spices and flavouring which smelled absolutely wonderful while cooking. The chicken tikka masala was fantastic. Really tasty and not too spicy but a great flavour. A little of these ingredients goes a long way and I will happily order this again.

Not pleasant at all, the onion mixture has a horrid texture, had to blend the life out of it, did not taste like restaurant tikka massala.

Easy to use, simply add to your sauce base. Can also be used as a tasty marinade. Very flavourful and tasty. top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

This spice mix for Chicken Tikka Masala comes with a simple presentation in a plastic bag with a best before date of 10 months away. You get two sachets inside and a recipe card. One Sachet is a brown powder - the main spice mix, and one a more grainy pale coloured type of mix, which is the onion mix which you soak in hot water for 3 minutes before use.It's obviously presented as a chicken dish, but I used panir and butternut squash, with the same recipe and it turned out ok. The weak element for me is the dehydrated onion, garlic, ginger mix which just has a characteristic flavour that I wasn’t keen on.The instructions are simple and straightforward.Overall the recipe takes around 45 minutes plus marinating time to make and you need to add a protein, yoghurt, oil, water, sugar, chopped tomatoes coconut milk to make a serving for 4, but the recipe only uses 1 teaspoon of the masala spice mix, but the whole sachet of onion mix, which means you only get enough onion mix for one recipe, but will have loads of the masala spice mix left over. You can buy sachets of the onion, garlic & ginger mix separately though, but for me i wouldn’t bother and I think you’re better off just using real onion, garlic and ginger.Overall it's a nice idea, works well, tastes ok and is easy to do, but the onion mix doesn’t work for me
