The two little vehicles are neat (and more interesting for the supervising parent to distract themselves with during playtime) and the variety of tools are good for playing fixer. But for my kid mostly it's about the drill. It's fun, not too noisy, totally safe, and she loves it.The kit does technically pack away back into the container, but I'm dubious how easy that would be, and it's easy enough to just slide the whole stand in behind something else until it's wanted again. It does take a while to assemble, so either get it ready beforehand, or make that job part of the fun, as it might be a bit frustrating having to wait so long before they can play with it. I chose not to include the power saw (due to my own memories from woodworking) but leaving that piece out doesn't cause any issues. I imagine that as she gets older she will find more ways to play with this, and it's great for her to have a way to get her tool-based urges out of her system, and practise her fine-motor skills.

Ordered this for my Granddaughter and it has been a absolute hit.As with most toy listings, the product is smaller than the listing images make out, so initally I was a bit disappointed. Once you get into putting everything together there's actually quite a bit of stuff included and it certainly looks the part once all the stickers are on. There is a selection of tools, nuts and bolts and toy machinery to build. I was quite surprised to fid the drill actually works, although it can be a bit fiddly to make it run in reverse for removing screws.Great interactive play for our 3yo we take turns building then dismantling the machines and what kid doesn't love bashing things with a hammer. It also promotes thinking and problem solving with making choices about which tool to use on what bit.Yes it's all plastic, but it doesn't need to be anything else. It can all be dismantled back into a tool box when not in use, but ours has remained set up as it gets used often.
