I'm notorious for avoiding ironing at all costs. have been looking to refresh my wardrobe and I had a lot of dry clean only / delicate items that were not being used so this looked like a good gadgetProsHeats up within seconds and it's good to go.Ideal for 1 or 2 items without the faff of putting up and taking down an ironing board.Brilliant on delicate items that would often be damaged by an ironFreshened up dry clean only / jackets and dresses with frills and detailsIdeal for between washesConsDon't expect a crisp iron finishWasn't impressed with it on shirts - they would still need a iron in my optionstruggled a bit on thick 100% cotton t-shirts and heavily creased itemsA bit bulky for travellingStill pleased with the purchase and can see me using it regularly to keep my summer items fresh and wrinkle free

I'm not sure of the purpose of this steamer. It certainly doesn't remove creases. I tried it on several different garments and fabrics. It barely makes a difference. I spent over 10 minutes steaming a lightweight pair of linen trousers and in that time I could only get rid of maybe 5% of the creases. It certainly doesn't save time - ironing would have been quicker and far more effective.

Famous last Word, don't need an iron and board, so promptly dumped them. Then immediately afterwards, I bought a few pairs of linen trousers, what a mistake to make, gosh, I've never seen so many creases when linen is washed. I noticed garment steamer on offer, so purchased it, solely for use on linen trousers and the odd creased jumper. The hot steam works well for trousers and jumpers, it heats up very quickly, steams and presses all in one go, job done. However, it wouldn't take the place of an iron if you needed it for shirts with collar and cuffs. I sometimes hang the trousers up to iron or when I've changed the bed clothes, ironed the trousers on top of the bed, as it then gives a neat look to the bedding too.

This really disappointed. When it arrived tried it on three different material shirts , did not remove any creases on any, maybe reduced creases on one, but still visible.Not idea why, the shirts were all wash a few days before, and were, cotton, cotton/denim and a light weight cotton. Not sure if you need to steam them as they are wet out of spinning when still damp or some other way. But on one shirt I steamed one small area for a few mins and did not work.I found the weight of the unit to be okay, although wife did not. If the unit worked, then it would have been value for the cost. But sadly for me not, As I said, disappointed.

This item is as described..easy to use. I think it works well, but you really need to hang up what you’re steaming to get the best.. obviously it’s not an iron so don’t expect it to be as good as one.. I’ve used it very successfully on linen shirts, suits and jackets.. it certainly does enough to make the garment easily wearable so I’m pleased with it.. the water tank is quite small but so easily filled I don’t see it as a problem.. it heats up quickly too for even the high steam setting.. the garment really needs to be vertical… especially if the water tank is full.. you may get away with some horizontal stuff is the water is low.. you will probably get water drips..
