At the time of reviewing this I was actually waiting for my official NHS screening pack to arrive by post. I suppose I won't know until I get the results backs if they both reached the same conclusion (the presence of blood in the stool, or not).This review is more based on ease of use and overall experience.The tests arrived well packed and the instructions were easy to follow. The Collection paper held well, the adhesive is quite strong!After the bowel moment is caught on the paper you take the wand and poke it into the brown stuff at three different points then insert back into the tube, give it a shake then pop two drops onto the test strip, this step is very similar to the covid test. Wait 5 minutes, then you can read the results.My only issue was at the droplet stage, I couldn't make the drops come out at first, the tube isn't really squeezable and there is no pipette. Maybe I was doing it wrong, I did manage to get some to come out eventually. The rest of the process ran smoothly.Overall the process was fairly painless.No, Bolo I don't want to post a video to the review, the world doesn't deserve that!

Not the most romantic purchase, but definitely one of the more responsible ones. The test was surprisingly easy to use (instructions were clear and non-intimidating), and results came through fast — under 5 minutes as promised. It’s not exactly a party trick, but if you're serious about keeping an eye on your health, especially with family history concerns, this is a no-fuss way to get peace of mind.Just be prepared for the... logistics. Let’s just say it’s not the kind of swabbing you brag about. Still, 10/10 for practicality!

This test kit has a much better set of instructions with it than other tests I have used.There is a proper booklet, written in different languages, with large clear text and informative diagrams. This makes it much easier to understand the steps involved in what is at first sight a bit of a fiddly process. This is good because if you can't read/see/ follow tiny instructions you might not bother, and after all , this test just might save your life. If unfortunately it is positive and you ring up the “receptionist” at your GP surgery and tell them you have a positive FIT test, you might just get an appointment!

The kit comes with clear instructions and it is easy to use and read. The only part that I couldn't utilise was the sample collection strip, this just ripped and was unable to be used so I had to resort to another method to collect the sample.

You get everything you need to take this test. It may not be the best thing to buy but can give some peace of mind. The instructions was easy to follow and gave a result quickly.

Very simple to use and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.You get a piece of paper to stick the toilet bowl to capture the sample. The adhesive is quite strong and you’ll need to peel it off carefully otherwise you’ll be left with bits of paper stuck to the side of the toilet.There is a stick to collect the sample from the paper so there is no mess.If you’re familiar with the Covid lateral flow tests, you’ll be fine with this.Simply drop two drops of the sample to the test strip and wait for 5 minutes.This is important. If you don’t wait 5 minutes you risk not reading the correct result. Mine was negative until 3.5 minutes and now I see a second line.It’s important to note that the strength of the line alongside T bears no resemblance to the amount of FOB in the sample.

Habe diesen Selbsttest im Rahmen des Vine Programms erwerben und testen dürfen. Die Teilnahme am Vine-Programm hat selbstverständlich keinen Einfluß auf die Bewertung.Bekommen habe ich das abgebildete Test-Kit in einem Umkarton.Die Verwendung ist denkbar einfach und funktioniert entsprechend der ausführlichen und gut verständlichen Gebrauchsanweisung recht gut.Das Ergebnis konnte dann nach kurzer Wartezeit abgelesen werden.Gut für einen Schnelltest.

Ich bin positiv überrascht, wie einfach und präzise dieser Test funktioniert. Die Anleitung ist gut verständlich, das Handling hygienisch gelöst und das Ergebnis liegt tatsächlich nach wenigen Minuten vor. Gut finde ich, dass zwei Tests enthalten sind. So kann man bei Unsicherheit nochmal gegenprüfen.Der FOB-Test ist eine sehr sinnvolle Möglichkeit, erste Hinweise auf mögliche Darmprobleme wie Blut im Stuhl zu erhalten. Schnell, diskret und ohne Arzttermin. Natürlich ersetzt er keine ärztliche Untersuchung, aber als vorsorgliche Maßnahme oder zur Beruhigung ist er absolut empfehlenswert.
