I got this wrist watch for my husband and although it is one of the cheaper ones out there, he was quite content with it.The watch is stylish, being hard to go wrong with the black and gold combination.The gold roman numerals with the diamond like inserts in between really draw attention to it.It has a quartz mechanism so a battery is needed in order to power it up but there won't be a need for one for a while.The day of the week and date are also displayed on the dial so there is extra very useful details without making it look cramped.The watch is all metal so it seems to be hard wearing as well.An interesting wrist watch which doesn't break the bank.

The watch face is easy to read, the date function is convenient, and the luminous hands are helpful in low-light situations. While it's advertised as waterproof, I haven't tested it to its limits. I've splashed water on it accidentally, and it's held up fine so far. The quartz movement is accurate, and I haven't had any issues with it losing time. It's a stylish watch, not overly flashy but definitely noticeable.

This comes in a very nice presentation box so it can be given as a present right from the off.Open the box and you’ll see the watch is tightly wrapped with a clinging film which is a little fiddly to take off so you’ll need a little patience for this. But once unwrapped you’re left with a rather nice looking watch. A simple watch which tells the time, date and day. Nothing more, nothing less.The watch face is about 40mm in diameter and just over 10mm thick. The cover over the face isn’t your normal cover, this one is shaped like a has sections going around it, but you can still see the face easily so this isn’t a bad thing.The strap is stainless steel and has a butterfly clip which hides away once clipped shut. It seems to be well made and pretty easy to shorten, although you do have to supply your own tool to help poke the small rods from the strap in order to take out a few sections to get the perfect fit around your wrist.The watch is easy enough to set up, just pull out the crown a little and this lets you change the date and day, turn one way to change the date, the other way to change the day. Pull the crown out a little more and you can change the time. Once you set the time, day and date you push the crown back in and you’re done.The battery is supposed to last for up to 2 years, but only Time will tell as I’ve only had it a few days so far.In all, a fine, low cost watch which is designed to be worn on many occasions, be that work or play. It’s a simple watch which tells you the time, day and date, nothing more, nothing less. A sort of old school watch.It looks nice, has a firm look to it with a strap that feels comfortable and doesn’t show signs of slipping off the wrist.Well worth the £30.98 price tag. Really nice watch is great for casual or business occasions. It looks far more expensive than the asking price.The watch arrives in a nice presentation box and is comfortable to wear.It is available in different variations from gold to silver. I chose black for review and the watch face is stunning.The watch is 30 meters waterproof with Quartz movement. The included battery lasts an impressive 2 - 3 years and keeps time well with good accuracy. The strap is made of 316 L Stainless Steel with a hidden butterfly clasp.It's a great watch for the asking price. It would make a superb gift.

This arrives in very luxurious looking, leather effect box.When you open the box it does look like a quite expensive watch inside.Close inspections shows a watch that looks well made. The materials used are good quality and the overall feel of the watch is really nice.I love the look of the face and the numerals. The gold goes well with the black.The strap is likewise well made.I do like the closing mechanism and it works well and feels very secure once fastened.It is very slack on me and I am 6'5" and 110kg and I will have to remove one if not two links. The links look pretty standard though and shouldn't pose a problem for me to take them out.It comes with a thick instruction booklet. Just a few pages dedicated to the English language.Unfortunately it is not for this watch.I initially struggled to figure out how to change the date.The crown has two setting positions.The first is to set the Day AND the Date. Turn one way to set the Day and turn the other way to set the Date (that was the bit that baffled me and not in the instructions)The second setting is for the time.The crown is the bit that lets this watch down. It doesn't feel very robust. But with care it should last.Supposedly Water Resistant to 30m. I have my doubts, especially with the crown.I'll be taking this on holiday with me so will be testing it in the pool - I'll report back any negative findings.On the whole for a £30 watch you really cannot go wrong. It's in my collection now and happy to wear it as a general out and about timepiece.

I wanted a dress watch for a friend's upcoming wedding but didn't want something expensive. This seemed like a good compromise.It's all metal (stainless steel). Water resistant up to 30 metres.It's quite large and doesn't come with a tool to remove links so I can't wear it until I get one but so far what I like is that it's not a super thick watch like some are. My wrists are quite small so a thick watch doesn't go well on me.The design is a little 1980s bling especially with the crystals on the numbers (which I missed in the product listing photos) but it will do for the odd occasion. It's definitely too much for a day to day watch
