A great set of break pads, they are well built, a mixture of ceramic and metal construction, they were easy to tow into my front and rear wheel's. There is some screeching but that is down to how new these are.Functionally they work a treat, I’ve found my breaks are much more responsive and I have a better time slowing down than my previous set

I got the organic version of these pads for my SRAM Code brakes, and they fitted well, fairly snug but not too tight to get in easily. I've not used epic brake components before but the pads and release springs look good quality to me. They seem to be bedding in quickly, and have a good amount of bite considering they were recently fitted. I'm not sure if this is an indication of lifespan as I expect they will wear quicker than the metallic pads I had fitted over the winter. Initial performance feels good to me though so I'm really happy with them. Value seems fair, about right for this sort of pad, so based on how they have behaved so far I'd happily pick up another set when I need them.

I have used Epic products in the past - they make brake bleed kits and other accessories for bikes and I have always been impressed with their products and service.These pads seem to be very good also - preparation is the key with brake pads - sand them down prior to use and then bed them in, and they should last a lot longer and give better stopping power.These fit my Code-R brakes fine, and they work well. It is a shame they do not come with a spare retaining bolt like some others do, however, this is a set of four pads - and they are great value for £23.90 (Price at time of review).

These Brake pads fit my Code callipers perfectly and look to be excellent quality. They are available in a range of compounds, the ones I have are the e-bike compound and the seem to be excellent. They are easy to fit and come with a new return spring which is essential really, this means that they will function properly and retract after braking. They are cheaper than the original Avid / SRAM Pads and also cheaper than some branded equivalents, time will tell if they are as effective and durable as others I have tried.

I got these brake pads as a replacement for my SRAM DB8 setup, and they perform well once properly bedded in. The stopping power is strong, and they provide a smooth, controlled braking feel without being overly grabby. I went for the sintered version for durability, and so far, they’ve held up well in both dry and wet conditions.They do take a bit of time to bed in properly, so don’t expect instant top performance straight out of the box. There was a slight squeal initially, but it disappeared after a few rides. They seem to handle heat well, with no noticeable fade on long descents, which is important for my riding style.Overall, these are solid replacement pads with good performance and durability. Just be patient during the bedding-in process for the best results.
