I managed to install, initialise, and format the drive after searching how to install these drives. It was a quick and straight-forward process and the drive is working perfectly, and as expected.

Delighted with it. Games download pretty fast and run smooth on it. Plenty of storage. Quality is great also. Would recommend for anyone wanting to use an SSD for gaming or for other purposes.

This was easy to fit. I followed a YouTube video but in fact you could do it without that as it took about two minutes to fit this to my PS5. Much better than having an external SSD or HDD hanging about. I bought the 2TB version as it seemed good value over the 1TB. The extra TB makes such a difference and you can store and run PS5 games from it whereas an external HDD can only store and run PS4 games. I ran the latest games from this SSD and the speed is just as good, if not better, than the actual console storage.

Últimamente elijo Lexar tanto en pc como para la memoria de mi cámara de fotos.Alta velocidad de lectura /escritura. En mi caso solo llega a 6000mb, seguramente por el Puerto de la placa base. Viene con tornillo incluido para atornillar el m.2 a la placa.

Preso in combo col dissipatore Sabrent ed è una coppia da paura.Appena montato sulla PS5 → riconosciuto subito, niente sbatti. Lettura a più di 7000MB/s, quindi ampiamente compatibile.Giochi PS5 si aprono in un lampo, zero attese. Ho spostato 100GB in tipo 2 minuti netti.Su PC va da dio anche lì: tempi di caricamento ridotti e ottime prestazioni anche con file pesanti e progetti da editing.✅ PRO:• Super veloce (Gen4 full power)• Prezzo top per un 2TB (molto più economico di Samsung o WD)• Perfetto sia per PS5 che per desktop• Nessun rallentamento anche sotto stress⚠️ CONTRO:• Serve un dissipatore (non incluso) → occhio se lo monti su PS5 o usi molto l’SSD• Niente software di gestione Lexar (ma alla fine chi lo usa mai davvero?)

Die Lexar 2 TB hält was sie verspricht. Intern sehr zügig, bemerkt man bei aufwendigen komplexen Grafikbearbeitungen und 4k-Videos. In einem externen Gehäuse über USB-3.1 für mich ausreichend schnell. Es kommt aber ein großes ABER: Bei intensiver Nutzung intern und besonders aber in einem USB-Gehäuse ohne aktive Kühlung wird sehr schnell heiß und geht über 65° C. Deshalb sollte ein geeigneter Kühler intern bzw. ein USB-Gehäuse mit aktiver Kühlung genutzt werden um den thermischen Verschleiß im Lebenszyklus im Rahmen zu halten. Ansonsten Top-/Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
