My grandson and I had so much fun with this book! It’s so simple, clear, and I think great for beginners. We learned about basic components like resistors and LEDs, and then by Chapter 4, we were building our first circuit on a breadboard. Seeing it come to life was such an exciting moment for both of us!We really liked the troubleshooting tips as they were super helpful when things didn’t work right away. We both think this book made electronics fun for us and achievable, and now he’s excited to try more projects. This is a great book for curious kids and beginners!

OMG THANK YOU!!!! I'm taking a college electricity class and the way the professor teaches and the way the book for the class explains it I'm just not getting. This book on the other hand is a LIFE SAVER!!! Jesus why can't I use this book in class instead! Make Your First Electronic Circuit attempts to simplify the concept of electricity to the simple lay person. I like the fact that the author took the time to explain the basic concepts of the principle underlying electricity. Terms like voltage, current, resistance, Ohm’s Law, and power are not familiar everyday terms; the last time I heard those terms was probably in my physics lab class in college. This book not only brings back those memories but actually makes it easier to understand and apply them today compared to back in the day at college. Although this book is not going to magically transform you into a master electrician today or any time soon, it will at least make sure that you understand electricity and take the necessary precautions to keep yourself and your loved ones safe while navigating this ubiquitous phenomenon of the modern world.
