The instructions are fine. If transferring cassette tracks to digital, it's necessary to download the Audacity app. Then the player works well to digitise any tracks.

The media could not be loaded. Got this to play some old tapes I’ve got hanging around and transfer some to digital.This portable cassette player comes with an AUX cable, a USB-C to USB cable and a set of headphones. The cassette player can be used by inserting 2x AA batteries (not included) or by plugging power into the USB-C slot using the provided cable. You then simply insert a cassette and press play.The beauty of this little player is that, although it comes with headphones, you don’t actually have to use them as it has an inbuilt speaker. The quality is actually surprisingly good and it’s great to just be able to play an old cassette without headphones.You can use this to digitise your cassettes to computer too. You simply use the USB-C cable and plug it into your computer. The instructions recommend using Audacity and you simply press record in there and press play on the cassette player. As soon as it’s recording, audio stops coming out of the speaker so you can digitise an entire tape without blasting music out.You can also use the included AUX cable to record from another device or computer back to tape!Overall, I’m really happy with this cassette player. It’s super easy to use, great for listening to old tapes, fantastic for digitising your music/childhood audio tapes and is great value too. Very happy.

I was interested in this so I can transfer C64 software to and from the PC once I finally source a C64. In the meantime I thought I would see how it fairs up with its intended purpose of a music player. I was quite impressed. Now it is not a perfect experience; for example, The built in speaker is fine for previewing what is on a tape, but I grew up in the 90s with a decent interation of the Sony Walkman so I know what tape should sound like, but for what it is and what it enables, the little shortfalls can be overlooked. Therefore, I hooked up to some of my more premium speakers with the 3.5mm jack. It sounds quite nice with that warmth in sound that cassettes always seemed to have, at least for me. That sort of feeling halfway between a vinyl crackle and the digital quality of a CD.In terms of transferring to PC very easy to do, with the USB-C it is plug and play, but does pick up as an audio device not a drive. This is expected even though even Windows 10 and 11 can pick up what is considered cassette drives, they are actually for data tapes.I would recommend Audacity for manipulating and cleaning the audio as depending on the tape you are using it can come in a bit messy but that I placed down to the fact it is not so much transferring but recording audio so it can be affected my volumes and things like that so unless you want to experiment with the volume settings for every tape Audacity allows you to do this in the edit if it is not right rather than going through all that faff of adjustments for every tape.I think in 2024 the ability to preserve and restore tapes is probably quite nieche but a lot of people do still play around with tapes; some quite literally like me who are part of retro gaming scene or have found old stashes of music, so it is great to see devices like this on the market.

Oh, cassette player brings back the memories from my childhood when we used to have big cassette player, sort of boom box with bigger speaker. Also so called stereo tower with cassette player, cd player and radio, all in one.. those days...We also had a Walkman player ;)Let's get back to the facts..This cassette player is good quality but not the best. I don't like that much the plastic quality, a bit glossy, a bit matte but with visible microscratches on the glossy, front side.This player has place for 2xAA batteries for when u want to take it with you when out and about. And also its main powered, when used at home. Usb C port for a cassette player sounds like combination of two-three decades, 80ties/90ties and recent one.Another bonus here is that the player comes with 3 types of cables-usb C charging cable, double jack cable and wired headphones.I found some old cassette and tried to listen to it loud via the speaker but the sound wasn't that good, maybe due to the speaker size and quality. When listened via headphones, it was a bit better.I thought that the cassette era is over but surprisingly the cassette players are coming back on the market, to bring back memories or to start new era maybe 😉I haven't used the recording feature or some formating. Just I'm not into it at the moment.As it is, I give it 4* and I'm glad I could listen to my old cassette with favourite boy band from the teenage time of 90ties.

Thank you so much for creating this fabulous little player.converter. I remember when music started going digital it was quite easy to pick up converters, but as time has gone on they seem to have become rare as hens teeth. I love this, it does all the jobs I was looking for. I can play old tapes and just enjoy them, through the headphone jack. I can play thenma nd convert them via Audacity, to MP3 digital files. I can even take new copes, just like in the olden days. The unit is small, perfectly formed, and once you've got your head around the detailed instructions, perfectly formed. It's been like opening a window into the past, I've heard family voices I haven't head for decades which had me weeping into my C90 cassette rack.I think if you do have tapes that are home recorded, picking up one of these is pretty much essential. Our cassettes featuring us in childhood and decades old now and must be degrading - get in in the nick of time before its too late to duplicate them to keep!

Le magnétophone n'est sans rappeler la belle époque où on tournait les cassettes au crayon de boite, quelque brin de nostalgie m'envahi après l'avoir utiliser pour réécouter les vieilles cassette audio, le son est correct on est sur une bande magnétique, il ne faut pas s'attendre à une nette amélioration, le casque fait en quelque sorte le relai pour fourni un son de qualité, jusqu'à là je ne suis pas dépaysé, quant au fonction de l'enregistrement du MP3 ce n'était pas si nécessaire que ça puisqu'on pouvait le brancher en auxiliaire sur PC pour enregistrer via un logiciel d'enregistrement.La qualité du haut parleur n'est pas top, mais permet néanmoins d'écouter ce qui passe sur la bande, ça reste acceptableDans l'ensemble je suis satisfait de la qualité du baladeur cassette, ça m'a vivement raviver quelques bons souvenirs, c'est aussi là qu'on se rend compte à quelle point on a de la chance d'avoir des appareils modernes qui simplifient grandement la tâche.Je trouve dommage que le lecteur de K7 ne soit pas compatible Bluetooth, ça aurait été un petit rêve d'enfant de pouvoir l'utiliser sans les fils qui s'emmêlent.

Danke für diesen Test!Mensch, als ich das Päckchen auspackte es fühlte sich an wie 1991 als ich meinen ersten Walkman in der Hand hielt - ich muss unbedingt im Keller suchen ob es ihn noch gibt oder ob er doch irgendwann weggekommen ist...Ok das Gefühl hielt noch ein bisschen: Das Batteriefach fühlte sich genauso an - nur halt Stopp: Das Teil hat sogar eine Aufnahmetaste? Das muss ich nachher gleich mal ausprobieren! Die Anschlüsse verraten zudem das die Zeit nicht stehen geblieben ist. Wo meiner früher nur einen Kopfhöhrerausgang hatte, hat dieser einen Eingang und einen USB-C Anschluss. Wahnsinn!Meine Liebling Kassette aus Kindertagen lebt leider nicht mehr aber eine andere, die ich noch in den 80er Jahren im Krankenhaus bekommen hatte: Pumuckl und den nun auf dem Handy zu haben um ihn abends meine Kids anhören zu lassen, wenn wir unterwegs sind, wäre wirklich super. Also gesagt getan und das Teil an mein Macbook angeschlossen. Tja letzteres erkennt das Teil nicht sofort als Mikrophon - aber gut es gibt ja ein Programm zu dem Teil dazu. Runtergeladen, installiert und gestartet.Nach wenigen Klicks gehts los und ich lausche gespannt aber höre nicht - sehe bloß das mein Macbook wohl sound Signale Empfängt auf der Aufnahmespur. Dumm nur, dass das ganze nicht ganz am Anfang angefangen hat aufzunehmen.Also Stopp und die Kassette zurückspulen und hier taucht der erste Kritikpunkt auf: Am Ende springt die Taste nicht wie gewohnt raus sondern man hört wie der Motor langsamer weiterdreht anhand eines leisen schleifenden Geräusches. Wer das vergisst, kann das Gerät wohl recht schnell entsorgen, fürchte ich.=> Damit ist das Erste Sternchen leider weg.Zurück zum Aufnehmen und damit Digitalisieren einer Kassette: Grundsätzlich geht das dann schon recht problemlos von der Hand. Irgendwie wäre es toll, wenn es hier eine schneller Taste gäbe. Früher gab es sowas ja schon - da konnte man eine Kassette auf eine andere Überspielen und das in 1/3 der Zeit - beide Decks liefen dann einfach schneller, sowas wäre echt toll gewesen.ABER man darf nicht vergessen - das mein altes Deck das das konnte rund 250 DM kostete und dieser Walkman nur einen Bruchteil davon. ...=> also kurz gesagt auf den PC aufnehmen geht, die Qualität ist ok - mein altes Deck über Line in an den iMac angeschlossen kriegt aber eine bessere Qualität hin...Nächster Test: Abspielen von Kassetten:Der Ton der auf dem Kopfhörer oder einem externen JBL Lautsprecher ankommt ist voll ok - ja gar nicht mal schlecht. Der Sound der aus dem Lautsprecher des Gerätes kommt aber ein ziemlich Witz. Jedes iPhone vergangener Generationen hört sich besser an (bspw. das 6s meines Sohnes). Hier wäre mein Rat an den Hersteller: Entweder ganz weg lassen oder einen etwas besseren einbauen, so macht das Teil keinen Spaß. Außer vielleicht als Diktiergerät - aber benutzt wirklich noch jemand eines mit Kassetten?Abrechnung. ;)Jetzt könnte man sich überlegen ob man dafür noch einen Stern abzieht - weil eigentlich wirbt der Hersteller ja sogar damit. Ich lasse es aber bleiben. Ich finde, dass der doch Preis für einen funktionsfähigen Walkman recht günstig ist. Die Tonqualität, die der PC emfpängt oder die über Kopfhöher kommt ist auch voll ok und deshalb finde ich, dass 4 Sterne angemessen sind und wer wirklich besseres will, hat ja die Möglichkeit mehr Geld auszugeben (oder gebrauchtes zu kaufen) und dadurch einen besseren Klang zu bekommen.

Como siempre, todo llegó perfectamente envuelto y el trato del mensajero fue excelente.Ahora, el producto.Con anterioridad, hace ya tiempo, había probado un casete grabador pero no como este. Lleva todo el equipamiento necesario para poder escuchar cintas de casetes tanto en el propio aparato como en el ordenador. Eso sí, esto segundo es para grabar en este a través de un programa de edición de audio.Lo que no me gusta, pero para el precio no está mal, son los auriculares. Son los más básicos y el sonido es básico. Así que tengo que utilizar auriculares más potentes y mejores para saber que el sonido que recibo se escucha perfectamente.A la hora de grabar, más de lo mismo. Sí, es cierto que el programa de edición de audio que tengas graba bien y hace su trabajo, y que lo que se recibe en el PC o tu portátil también es un sonido muy bueno; pero no pidáis milagros. Si hay que restaurar el sonido de una cinta, hay que hacerlo bien y con conocimiento de saber hacerlo. Ya sabéis: dar agudos, quitar graves... Vamos, equilibrar el sonido para que parezca que no han pasado los años por esa grabación.Recomiendo este reproductor de casete portátil y ya que cada uno saque sus conclusiones propias.

Ein super Klang hat das Teil und man kann ohne Ohrstecker den Raum (normale Wohnung) in einer normalen Lautstärke gut beschallen. Wünschte, dass man damals solch einen tollen tragbaren Player besessen hätte. Alles andere habe ich noch nicht getestet. Bleibt jetzt noch die Unwissenheit wie lange dieses Gerät hält ohne Verschleißerscheinungen. Kann man ja erst später wissen, gell?
