I hadn't heard of Ugreen before, but I bought one of their other items and the quality was great, so when I needed to get a new charger I knew they would be a safe bet. Looks and works great.

I picked this charger mainly for its multi-device support, and while it performs well overall, the built-in retractable USB-C cable turned out to be less practical than expected. At just 69cm, it's simply too short for typical setups, especially for charging something like a Steam Deck. Even in everyday use, it couldn’t reach the top of my desk comfortably, which limits its usefulness unless paired with an extension cable or get a desk with a built in socket which I sadly do not haveDespite the cable length issue, the other ports, USB-C and USB-A, worked flawlessly with my own longer cables. They provided fast, stable charging and made it easy to power multiple devices simultaneously. The 65W GaN performance felt reliable, and I appreciate the safety features baked in for extended charging sessionsFunctionally, it’s a well-built unit with good charging speeds and broad compatibility, but I wish the retractable cable was closer to 1-2 meters to match the needs of modern tech setups. As it is, it’s better suited for travel or very compact workstationsOverall, the charger delivers solid performance and versatility, but the short built-in cable limits its practicality. It works best when paired with your own longer cable, which thankfully the other ports support without issue

This review is for a 65W USB-C charger, branded Ugreen, priced at £39.99It has a USB-C socket, a USB-A socket and a retractable, non-detachable USB-C cable. All 3 ports can be used simultaneously, with limits of individual port power depending which ports are in use. The USB-C socket can deliver 65W on its own if the other 2 ports are not in use. The charger is a similar size as Green's 100W 4 port charger.The retractable USB-C lead has a certain amount of convenience, and saves having to carry a USB-C lead. Its connector is magnetically held in place.In use, I was able to use both USB-C leads to charge a small drone and its controller, and the USB-A to simultaneously charge the phone. I was able to use the USB-C socket to charge a MacBook Pro. At higher outputs, the charger does start to warm up, but doesn't get hot enough to cause concern.There are some downsides, compared to the same company's 100W 4 port charger though:Price, this item is more expensive for a lower spec, providing less power and fewer portsThe ports are at the bottom, potentially making it more fiddly to plug in the USB cables or extend the attached cable without unplugging the charger from the wallIt's quite a good charger, but unless you need the retractable cable function, I'd recommend their 100W 4 port version instead.
