The extra space is a game-changer—I can keep all my favorite games installed without constantly juggling storage. No more deleting stuff just to try something new.Performance-wise, it’s a big step up. Load times are noticeably quicker, and games run smoother overall. I’ve tested it with some heavier titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur’s Gate 3, and everything runs flawlessly. The Steam OS interface feels snappier too.Installation was straightforward. I was a bit nervous about opening up the Deck, but with a good tutorial and the right screwdriver, it went smoothly.If you're on the fence about upgrading your Steam Deck’s storage, do it. The 1TB SSD gave my device a serious boost and made it way more convenient to use on the go.

It's perfect. Fast, reliable, plenty of storage.Compatible with (as far as I know) most of the devices that require it without the need for any software support or updates. Great for the money and very easy to install.

it's a great upgrade for your ally, only thing making it 4 is time will tell if has a good write endurance and is worth the premium over other drives the same size i think it is worth it but can't say for sure till i put it through alot more use to see if it doesn't degrade being the one source of storage on the ally because of their micro sd escapades

I bought for rog ally, cloud recovery wouldn't work for me. Cloning my hard drive was the solution and it took less than half an hour from starting the clone to installing this 2tb drive. Search youtube for "wd black sn770m clone hard drive". There's a video tutorial, about 9 minutes long. I didn't decrypt my data, and I had zero issues. You'll need to buy or possess an ssd enclosure with usb-C-usb-C connectivity (about £17).If cloud recovery doesn't work for you, just follow that youtube guide (optional to decrypt your data [I didn't])Thia 2tb drive is great, and the speed is good enough that if I ever decide to get rid of the rog ally, it's a fast enough storage drive to place in the ps5, or even my gaming pc.Also, just a warning, that m.2 screw in the ally is garbage and the thread strips easily. If this happens to you, force a tiny flathead screwdriver in and you should be able to turn it. If not, I've heard good things about a product called 'vampliers'. I hope this review helps someone out. Delivery for me was 1 day quicker than Bolo had said it would be.
