    Some people might be OK with a hub for every ZigBee switch vendor, but I'm not. ZigBee should just work. I don't want to be stuck with a paperweight when it eventually gets abandoned. Home Assistant picks up this switch but can't configure it (and it won't even let you use the aqara app and bluetooth, it really does need the hub). In my case that meant that my LED down lights flickered and couldn't get to full brightness. Returned it and replaced it with the candeo dimmer which doesn't look as nice but just works.

    Gave flickering when paired with Nanoleaf essential light bulb, Phillips hue dimmable bulbs. Works with standards bulb. Would like to know if it works with Aqara’s new bulbs. Using with HomeKit just works

    Edit: in addition to the issues below, it’s now stopped working reliably at all. HomeKit commands don’t work and it shows as not responding.The device feels really nicely built but the software unfortunately is awful.The app is a messy nightmare, from start to finish. I set this up as a Matter accessory via HomeKit and then tried to edit advanced settings in the Aqara app (i.e. calibrate it because 60% brightness in my set up is actually 0%). The app in HomeKit mode doesn’t let me edit settings, telling me to sign in. When I sign in, the device disappears. When I try to sync it back in via the connections setting pane, it doesn’t show up in the HomeKit list.When I try to add the device in the app, it says I need an Aqara brand matter hub listing three. But my matter hub is a HomePod mini, which isn’t an option.Just awful software, complete mess so I can’t calibrate it properly. It’s a shame because the hardware is really nice.

    Ich bin mit dem Produkt vollkommen zufrieden. Ein großer Vorteil ist, dass es nicht unbedingt einen Neutralleiter braucht, um trotzdem gut zu funktionieren. Der Schalter ist in Alexa integriert (unbedingt auf Kompatibilität mit dem Alexa-Modell, das man hat, achten) und kann somit auch per Sprachsteuerung bequem bedient werden. Die gesamte Installation gestaltete sich recht einfach.Alternativ zu Alexa, kann der Dimmer auch in den Smart Hub von Aquara integriert werden, der jedoch extra gekauft werden müsste.Einziger Nachteil, wobei ich dafür keinen Stern abziehen würde: die Einsätze müssen in die Wand gebohrt werden, da es leider nicht mit Befestigungskrallen kompatibel ist. Das macht es unnötig aufwändig.

    Funciona perfecto como todo lo que he comprado de Aqara, ya van muchas cosas. Fácil de configurar con la App se ve de buena calidad y buenos materiales. Por si necesitáis marcos que sepáis que es un blanco neutro mate y necesita marcos de 55x55mm.La luz se puede configurar para que esté encendida con la luz apagada o encendida. Perfecto para baños, pasillos o zonas de paso. Y si lo instalas en una habitación pues dejas la luz del interruptor como viene de serie.
