Not a good idea for a tea lover, like me. I was using a travel mug and making a tea at work for the following morning but it was cold. Then I came across this little gadget! I’ve only used it a few times but it’s very easy to use and means I can make tea in the evening and a fresh one in the morning when I wake up. It’s very compact, well made and quiet. I have a 600w power bank so I’m going to try using it on the road too! Ideal for campers and people who stay in hotels without a kettle (or, if you don’t want to use a hotel kettle). Ideal for making up baby bottles too (as long as you have access to electricity or a power bank).

I spent over an hour comparing similar models and kept coming back to this even though it was the most expensive in my range but I can say this worth the money (at the time of purchase £35). HERE’s WHY:* First surprise - colour looks better in reality* Is the same size as a normal steel water bottle but obviously has the ability to boil water...and can still be used as an everyday water bottle (doesn’t look like you’re carrying a kettle - laughing as I type that but it’s the truth)* Is super quiet and even the beep sound is non-intrusive (perfect for not wanting to disturb others who maybe asleep)* Does not have steam coming out of the lid like other models (at first I was wondering if this was wrong as I had read reviews on multiple models & confused them but this model is completely enclosed) - it feels safe!* The grippy pad on the bottom also adds to the safe / sturdy feel* Is extremely comfortable to touch (very insulated) when brought to 100c boil* Easy to pour (other model reviews warned of not being easy to pour from)* First boil took 7mins 50secs (but honestly by the time you’ve washed your face and brushed your teeth in the morning you’re coming back to a freshly boiled kettle so that to me is fine)* Second boil just under the same time (and that’s enough to drink the first mug of coffee before you may want another - perfect)* Has a travel bag included to keep it nice* …the only let down is on my part, I thought would be able to pack the power cord into the bottle for transport but of course the plug won’t fit in the lid, instead I’ll be transporting it inside the carry bag with the bottle if canLove this product for travelling for work and not having to use dirty / scaled kettles

I was in the market for a non-plastic kettle, as I’ve become very aware how detrimental plastic is to our health, so I’ve been trying to eliminate as much plastic-contact as possible from our food and drink. I read many reviews across multiple sources and came across this one. Although it didn’t have the best reviews on other sites, it was within my budget and, although the outer-material is plastic, the inner material (which the water is in contact with) is stainless steel. Some alternatives that I was looking at (including glass ones) still had plastic spouts or plastic inner lids, whereas this one is fully stainless steel inside, which was a big win for me.Since having the kettle and using it daily for 3 months, I absolutely love it. My first thoughts were that it’s stylish and sleek, but then functionality came into play and I was very impressed. I love that I can boil my tea at 60 degrees, but my husband does his coffee hotter, and then I save 100 degrees for when I’m sterilising baby stuff, or I use 45 degrees to wilt spinach; we use the different temperatures much more than I thought we would actually!The ‘keep warm’ function is also amazing for me, as having a newborn baby means I can rarely boil the kettle and make the tea within 10 mins! So no more repeated boiling due to water cooling, as it stays at the temperature I want until I’m able to get back to make my drink, what a luxury for a new mum having a warm cuppa!My only slight downsides which I’ve deducted a star for are:- The lid (a lift-off lid rather than a hinged lid), as on the occasions I’ve taken the lid off to re-fill the kettle, or when I empty the kettle after use (to try and prevent limescale), it can be a bit fiddly and I can see how people could burn themselves.- Secondly is, on a couple of occasions the kettle doesn’t seem to ‘wake up’ when I switch it on at the wall, and it appears to be broken. But, I just turn it off for 5 seconds and back on, then it works perfectly again. So, it isn’t yet an issue! I just hope this is an intermittent bug, as I really do rate this kettle and don’t want to go back to a classic one now.- The spout isn’t a fine one, in that any limescale buildup doesn’t get filtered out at the spout due to the holes being quite big and letting any limescale through easily.The speed to boil seems good, I haven’t noticed any longer wait than my previous kettle (a Brita one), although I rarely boil a full kettle, only what I need.As for the weight of it, I find it fine for me (I’m not very strong and I can lift it easy enough with 1 hand when it’s full), so I think this would only be an issue if you have arthritis or something which makes lifting more difficult.Overall, I think this product is great value for money, and I would absolutely recommend or buy again (although my Brita kettle lasted 7 years, so hopefully I won’t need to replace this Bear one any time soon!).

So far so good, quiet boiling, easy to use, cool touch body and lid, looks good, I like that the inside doesn’t have a lip so when lime scale builds up you can tip it straight out and there’s nothing for it to get caught on and being trapped in the kettle, so the kettle will always be clean. I’ve read in some comments that the inside gets stained but I’ve not had that in mine, I live in a hard water area to I think the stains people are talking about is the start of lime scale build up, which I have noticed in mine but it’s nothing that white vinegar or a limescale remover won’t get rid of. I really like the kettle and all it’s functions so I hope it has a great build quality and lasts a very long time… so far I’m really pleased with my purchase.

También hay ocasiones en las que me gusta tomar una infusión a ultima hora de la noche antes de ir a dormir... En algunos hoteles hay maquina de Nespreso o hervidores, pero no están disponibles en todos (En alguno que he estado recientemente no tenían ni nevera) y, en los que están disponibles, no suelen ser algo que se limpie con frecuencia (Las maquinas nespreso son difíciles de limpiar ya que acumulan café en zonas inaccesibles.Con sólo pulsar un botón seleccionas la temperatura que quieres (45, 65, 85 y 100 grados). Vamos, desde preparar biberones para bebes como hervir agua para una infusión o unos noodles de esos en los que viertes agua hirviendo. Yo la he utilizado para cafés (85º) y para infusiones y noodles (100º). Alcanza la temperatura bastante rápido y pita al terminar.La cantidad de agua es de unos 300ml que suele ser mas que suficiente para una persona. En mi caso he llegado a prepararme un vaso térmico de café de 475ml con café soluble 2-en1 (Es decir, con leche en polvo en el mismo sobre) por lo que necesitaba mas de esos 300ml. Tapando el vaso térmico y con lo rápido que calienta el agua en nada lo tenía listo. Incluso he llegado a calentar agua a 100º para calentar el vas térmico y luego preparar el café.Lo que si se nota es que, tras un par de usos el hervidor se nota algo caliente, por lo que suelo asegurarme que se enfría un poco antes de meterlo en la maleta si lo he usado poco antes. El termo en si ocupa mas o menos lo que una taza térmica de unos 450ml por lo que se puede llevar cómodamente en un lateral de la mochila el único inconveniente es el cable, que ocupa algo de sitio y no entra en el interior aunque en muchas mochilas que puedes llevar una botella de litro y medio es posible que te entre en el lateral.La verdad es que estoy encantado con él y me ha dado mas juego del que esperaba.

Tolles Teil besonders für Off-Grid Anwendungen mit Solar.Bei Annäherung an die gewünschte Temperatur regelt der Kocher tatsächlich die Leistung in Stufen runter, sodass er ganz sanft die Temperatur erreicht. Bei Benutzung von Akku mit Wechselrichter ein klares Plus!Für Babymilch die Einstellung 45° ist auch top. Die Temperatur wird sehr genau gehalten bei einer Stromaufnahme nach erreichen von 45° von maximal 100W für ein paar Sekunden. Wirklich Stromsparsam, wie gesagt, für Off-Grid Anwendungen wichtig!Optik macht auch was her.Der Wasserkessel ist komplett aus Edelstahl bis oben herum gebördelt.Einziger Nachteil ist das der Kocher nur mit einem Stromkabel mit Stecker zu bekommen ist, also ohne Dockingstation. Da muss man immer den Stecker ziehen wenn man mal zum Wasserhahn will...Mein Hauptanwendung ist jedoch Wasser fürs Baby. Da wird vorgekochtes Wasser eingefüllt und warm gehalten bzw. dann am Abend noch einmal durchgekocht. Da bleibt der da stehen wo er ist. Im Outdoorbereich wäre eine Dockingstation wieder eine Sache mehr zu verstauen, da ist ein Kabel besser.Also ich bin begeistert. Sowas wäre früher made in Germany gewesen

Per me comodissimo. L'ho acquistato per potermi fare al lavoro tisane, orzo etc.Tiene circa a 300ml (non misurati), quindi una tazza mooolto abbondante.Io lo riempio per 3/4, scelgo la temperatura in base a ciò che intendo bere e in poco tempo l'acqua è calda.La mantiene anche, io non ho testato questa funzione perchè lo attivo quando mi serve, non lo uso come termos.
