Initial MQTT setup was a pain, but when I worked it out, the device is excellent. does what it needs to and works well.if you are using Hone Assistant, I suggest using the Modbus integration. setup is pretty easy from there.

Hinweise:Dieser Artikel wurde mir durch das Bolo-Vine Programm kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.Dies hat keinen Einfluss auf die Bewertung!Kaufgrund:Die Gartenbeleuchtung bei Schwiegereltern in die Automatisierung einbindenLieferumfang:- 30ch Ethernet Relay ModulErster Eindruck:In einer Pappschachtel ohne Beschreibung geliefert. Wie von Waveshare gewohnt ist sehr viel eigen Arbeit gefragt.Qualität:Das Gerät ist sehr gut verarbeitet und für eine Railmount-Installation vorbereitet.Entweder oder kann je Port 230V/10A AC oder 30V/10A DV geschalten werden. Bis da geschehen kann, muss jedoch viel Anleitungstext im Waveshare Wiki gelesen und experimentiert werden.Die Grund Inbetriebnahme erfolgt schnell, doch ist die Konfiguration per Software, Webinterface, usw. eher Frickelei.Ein nettes Extra ist die Versorgung über POE. Zwar ist das Relay nahe einer Stromquelle verbaut, doch muss man sich dann nicht extra Gedanken um eine extra Leitung machen, wenn wieso ein LAN-Kabel verlegt ist.Endbewertung:Für ~97€ ist das Gerät ein teurer Schuh mit viel Arbeit welchen man sich versucht anzuziehen, doch wenn man es geschafft hat das Gerät korrekt zu konfigurieren und einen passenden Platz am Verwendungsort gefunden hat, kann man viel spaß damit haben.

Works Well with Home Assistant
I am using 2 of these for damper control using Home Assistant for a very large commercial HVAC system. It was fairly simple to setup using modbus and either a static IP or a dynamic IP that is set static on your router. Wiki information was ok although it would be great if they added a more detailed link for Home Assistant setup. You do not need to use their software at all to get it setup if you do just a little research.

Fondamentalmente siamo di fronte ad una scheda relais pura da 30 canali con interfaccia ModBus su Rete LAN, niente di più niente di meno, e non è cosa da poco.... Il contenitore per barra din è ben realizzato, compatto, compatibilmente con l'ingombro della scheda ovviamente e presenta serigrafie chiare e ben leggibili anche in scarsità di luce. Le morsettiere sono tutte a vite, robuste e facili da utilizzare con cavi di sezione medio piccola (non oltre i 2.5mmq). Accedendo alla parte interna del modulo troviamo la scheda elettronica vera e propria realizzata su PCB nero, molto elegante, ottime saldature ed al netto di qualche residuo di flussante non presenta nessun tipo di difetto produttivo ne estetico. Di fianco al connettore RJ45 troviamo una serie di led smd che indicano lo stato e l'operatività del modulo stesso, molto facili anche questi da vedere, ogni morsetto di canale poi, possiede un led di stato che indica se il relay selezionato è attivo o meno. Una volta montata nel vostro quadro elettrico e collegata all'alimentazione e alla rete LAN, avrete la possibilità di accedere alla sua configurazione tramite due modalità : WEB autonoma o mediante applicativo specifico. Quella web è la più immediata in quando non necessita di installare nessun tipo di sw, ci si collega all'indirizzo di default del modulo (nativamente non ha il DHCP client attivato ma un indirizzo fisso pre assegnato 192.168.1.200) ed una volta autenticati (la password la trovate nelle istruzioni online) avrete la possibilità di modificare tutti i parametri necessari ad inserire il modulo all'interno della vostra rete locale e a farlo dialogare con il vostro hub di domotica mediante protocollo ModBus che potrete sfruttare direttamente su protocollo TCP-IP oppure per i sistemi meno recenti tramite porta seriale su IP offrendo un ventaglio di combinazioni (TCP,UDP,LAN,Virtual Serial ecc) adatte alla maggior parte dei sistemi. Un vero peccato che non vi sia la possibilità di testare la scheda direttamente dall'interfaccia Web, infatti, per poter azionare i vari relais in fase di collaudo, dovremo utilizzare il sw suggerito nelle istruzioni oppure configurare il nostro hub ed utilizzare direttamente quello. L'assorbimento in termini di corrente della scheda è molto contenuto, con tutti i relais eccitati superiamo di poco l'Ampere, è facile che in fase di commutazione si abbiamo picchi momentanei anche superiori, dimensionate di conseguenza l'alimentatore (direi che 3/5A a 12V possa andare bene) poiché se la scheda è sottoalimentata rischierete di avere strani comportamenti come disconnessioni saltuarie ed altro, ho potuto rilevare gli effetti alimentando la scheda con meno di 1A e poi commutando tutti i relais contemporaneamente, la scheda si è resettata disconnettendosi dalla rete e poi riavviandosi, ma questo comportamento non deve essere considerato un difetto...... Concludendo, se vi serve un bel numero di canali di commutazione puri (ed opto-isolati) in un unica soluzione per barra din allora questo prodotto fa proprio al caso vostro, la sola presenza del protocollo ModBus non deve sembrare una limitazione vista l'estrema diffusione del suddetto anche all'interno degli attuali hub di domotica (come ad esempio Home Assistant). Personalmente mi ritengo molto soddisfatto della soluzione, ma la mancanza di un pannello di test sull'interfaccia web (e magari anche altre funzionalità ad accesso diretto) non gli consentono di raggiungere le 5 stelle.
