These ARE real skittles, just in case anyone doubted. They taste exactly how you'd expect, obviously... 1.6kg of skittles is a crazy amount to eat by yourself though, so you definitely want to be sharing these, or using them to restock something like the vending machine example. I must say though, these are overpriced, as you usually expect to get a cheaper deal with bulk buying, but if you buy 136g packs from your average supermarket, then you will be paying about 30% less than what these currently cost. The only upside of this is convenience, and to some people convenience is worth a little more.

I ordered these Skittles with the intention of having the odd little bowl of them when I was craving a sweet treat. When the bag arrived I have to admit to being completely shocked just how many Skittles actually make up 1.6kg, in order to have the occasional little bowl I would be eating them for a year at least, so plan number two involves some small sweet cones and an upcoming Halloween party.The sweets arrive in a large bag, this isn't resealable once opened, so you will need an airtight container to dispense them into until you use them. The bag does have all the nutritional information printed on it, but it was a bit difficult initially to locate the English version, the best before date is also clearly printed, and is 21 months away.Taste wise it is the same fruity, delicious taste of Skittles in a regularly sized bag. For anyone who hasn't tasted them before, they are a chewy sweet with a crisp coating, each colour tastes like a different fruit flavour, if you like fruit flavoured sweets I'm sure you'll approve.Overall its a massive amount of very nice sweets, they could be used for recipes, freeze drying, or just for enjoying them exactly as they arrive, but don't be shocked by just how many will arrive. I'm very pleased with them, and have been rationing myself with them, and I am happy to recommend them.
