I have wanted a pair for years, having had a pair I found on discount in my late teens and living in them for the following few years.I have wide square feet, they have some swelling due to arthritis and general foot spread after three children. I was concerned that these would not fit anymore. I am also generally a uk6. I ordered the 5.5 as the only other option is a uk 7.They fit perfectly. I only had to do the straps up half way. My heels do not overhang, there is more toe room and the width is perfect for my feet... they are not too narrow. My feet also feel supported for the first time in years, which tells me the price that put me off is what I may have to start saving for in order to have comfortable feet. It's worth it; although it has been the main reason I have not purchased them to date.I'm waiting for the weather to warm up now so I can wear them out.

I wear my Arizona Birkenstocks all year around. In the summer as a sandal and in the winter (with socks!!) as a slipper. I love them.if you have never owned a pair you will not know that as you wear them they mould to the sole of your feet and they are hugely comfortable. They also look quite sweaty and horrible too, but they do not get smelly.At some stage the composite cork material they use for the shoe will start to breakdown but by then you have had a heck of a lot of wear out of them and you will want a new pair before they fall part.I once thought they were for yoghurt knitting hippies but now I am convinced they are a great piece of footwear.

You buy this kind of footwear for comfort, rather than some fake notion of style, and that's exactly what you get: so... perfect fit, no need to "wear in", just take them out of the box, adjust the straps, place on feet and get on with your life. Other potential buyers might like to bear in mind that, having already had several pairs of Birkenstocks over the last 6 or 7 years, I knew I should buy size 37 rather than 39 (my usual size for other brands of shoe) and that I should select the "normal" width for my rather wide feet. Specially recommended for anyone who wants to combine the benefits of an open sandal with the great support you get from the Birkenstock foot-bed. Surprisingly warm even in sub zero temperatures (not sure why - perhaps because you have to flex your feet when wearing them?)

These are unisex even though they say men’s! My first time buying a pair of these, I got the habana soft leather upper and would absolutely recommend to anyone. They took maybe 4 or 5 hours of borderline painful wearing to make them comfortable, but it was so worth it because they fit so well now they’ve moulded to my feet. Definitely worth getting the SFB if they’re your first pair, and worth forking out the extra £20 to get proper leather.

Narrow Fit, not advertised. Would have expected standard fit being that it was not advertised. On the positive side they are genuine and look great. However can't return as I will be out of country until end of return period.

Got these at an excellent price and they're a really smart looking sandal. The narrow width was perfect but the length was too small. I ordered a half size up from my regular shoe size but there was only a little bit of room around my feet. As I walked forward my toes ended up squashed against the front. In my opinion, buy one size up and this will give you the recommended fit on the Birkenstock website. If they were available in my size, I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.I also bought the narrow brown leather version in size 7.5. They're gorgeous too, but they sent the wrong size twice, so I sent them back and not trying again.

Comfortable, but the dye rubs off
I want to love these as much as I’ve loved every other pair of Birkenstocks I’ve worn over the decades, but the pink dye rubs off and turns the tops of my feet bright pink. Other than that, they are comfortable and cute.
