It is a really good idea to have pieces like these as a play and learn however the problem is the quality or precision of the attachments because it is so loose the models on the paper can be done but not playable, it isn't fun for 5-6 years old

This is a great STEM toy for young kids, with so many different options for what you can create. There is a booklet that comes in the box with some instruction and different ideas to build. Although these are just photos so you have to work out how to assemble these yourselves. But there are so many different ways to connect the sticks which makes the possibilities endless.

I ordered this set for my 7 year old son and he loved it! It comes in a super sturdy plastic box with a handle that can be carried around easily. The set contains 125 different pieces including wheels and eyes to allow your child to use their imagination to make whatever they want. There is a booklet included which is filled with ideas of things to build. It does not contain instructions and doesn't really need them as children can make good attempts to reverse engineer from the photos. The pieces are well made with bright colours to attract the young eye. I found my son needed help at times to snap some pieces in, but this may just be as it's new. They hold together firmly and whilst this does make it a little tough to separate if you need to break your design, it is useful for playability as it ensures your designs don't fall apart easily. Overall it kept my son entertained for ages! It's a really good idea and a fantastic take on construction toys that will appeal to everyone. Even I struggled to walk away from it!At £25.07 (at time of review), this is a little expensive, but there are a lot of pieces and it will keep children entertained for hours. It's a very unique idea and would make a fantastic gift. Well presented and good quality.

Nice chunky sized parts, models stay together well, many ways of combining parts to make just about anything.This is a nicely made and well thought out construction toy.

I had only just opened this item, when my two small Grandsons arrived (age 6 & 7). They immediately spotted the bright box on the settee and were very excited. The building pieces come in a nice sturdy plastic carry box for storage and you get 125 pieces which include 9 wheels and tyres and 4 eyes.There is also a book which shows items that can be made, but not detailed instructions.The older one immediately started making a toy from the book, trying to make it exactly as the picture, while the younger one made something that looked like it.They are very easy to make as you just push the pieces together, but once they are together they do not easily come apart, so the toy can be played with afterwards.They made several things during their visit and it kept them very busy.If there is one criticism, it would be that 8 eyes would be better as they had to keep breaking up what they had made, and they were unhappy about that.All in all though, a very good building kit and although not cheap at £28.86, it is very well made and the boys are looking forward to their next visit to make some more models.
