I had high hopes for this Jognee Tennis Trainer, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The idea is great in theory – practice your strokes solo without needing a partner – but in reality, it’s not functional.The bounce and return of the ball feel nothing like real tennis.The tension on the cord is either too tight or too slack, making it unpredictable and frustrating. Instead of simulating a rally, the ball jerks back awkwardly or flops around in random directions. It felt more like I was battling a yo-yo than practicing actual forehands or backhands.The base also moves around way too easily, even when filled with water, which makes the whole experience feel unstable. After about 10 minutes, I gave up and went back to hitting against a wall.I really wanted this to be a helpful tool, but in its current form, it just doesn’t work for meaningful tennis practice. If you’re serious about improving your game, I’d look elsewhere.

The first thing to note is that this item is a toy/amusement game for children, not adults - and the product description does actually state 'Age range: kid' and leaves the responsible adult to judge the age suitability for the child in question. Personally i'd suggest it's best for a 5-8 year old and that may even be pushing it a bit.The weight or base needs to be filled with water before use, and herein lies a further clue as to age suitability because it's very small and flimsy. Any adult using a tennis racket to wack the ball is likely to send the whole contraption into orbit. I'd suggest equipping a child user with a small paddle type bat to play with this trainer.A point to note is that the trainer needs to be assembled, in the sense that the line holding the ball is only tucked into the retaining loop on each tennis ball during assembly i.e. do not assume it's all good to go.To conclude, as a young child's trainer it's just okay. I'd like to see a more substantial weight/base than that on offer, because it's inadequate for continued use if a child's skill improves and they are able to really hit the ball with a power shot. Essentially though the item is as described, it's the photos of adult users that are somewhat misleading.

This isn't very good at all. I wasn't expecting it to be great and I can say it's probably worse than I expected. It's quite poor quality; the tennis ball doesn't have a lot of bounce and is attached with the flimsiest length of 'spaghetti thin' elastic. The younger children have enjoyed playing with it but my eldest son who genuinely enjoys a game of tennis describes it as "The most frustrating game ever'.

This tennis trainer does not really look man enough to be used for adult use, I tried it out with just one small bat and not my full sized tennis racket and I managed to knock the ball of the elastic and across our green, this might have been down to the elastic, which I have to say being rather thin, not being tied securely to the ball, once I retied it and tried again it worked ok, but I just think with the extra force of a tennis racket the ball will probably come off again if not snap the elastic.Anyway this was more for the grandkids and using small bats they did have a whale of a time hitting the ball and it coming back to them, at one point the cap did come of the base and the water flowed out, I thought I had screwed the cap down tight after I filled it but maybe I didn't.So I think this is more for kids than keen adult tennis players.

Como principiante absoluta en el tenis, buscaba algo que me permitiera practicar sin necesidad de tener siempre a alguien disponible para jugar conmigo. Este set de entrenamiento ha sido exactamente lo que necesitaba para comenzar mi aventura tenística este verano.Lo que más me gusta del producto:El concepto es súper inteligente y simple. La base azul se rellena con agua para darle peso y estabilidad, luego colocas la pelota y ya puedes empezar a practicar. Es genial poder entrenar sola sin depender de horarios de otras personas o de encontrar pistas libres con compañeros.La facilidad de montaje me sorprendió. En pocos minutos tenía todo listo y funcionando. No requiere herramientas complicadas ni instrucciones difíciles de seguir. Perfecto para alguien como yo que quiere empezar rápido sin complicaciones técnicas.Las tres pelotas incluidas son un detalle excelente. Siempre hay una disponible si alguna se daña o se pierde, y puedes alternar entre ellas durante las sesiones más largas de entrenamiento.Experiencia de uso:Para jugar necesitas espacios grandes, lo cual no es problema si tienes jardín o acceso a un parque. La pelota rebota de forma predecible, lo que me ayuda a desarrollar coordinación ojo-mano y timing básico. Es ideal para practicar golpes de derecha y revés sin presión.Como principiante, me permite fallar sin vergüenza y repetir los movimientos hasta que empiecen a salir naturalmente. El ritmo lo marco yo, lo cual es perfecto para ir ganando confianza poco a poco.Aspectos a considerar:Obviamente no reemplaza jugar con una persona real o tomar clases profesionales, pero como complemento para practicar entre sesiones es excelente. La limitación del espacio puede ser un inconveniente si vives en un apartamento sin jardín.Puntuación: 4/5 estrellas- Una herramienta fantástica para principiantes que quieren empezar a familiarizarse con el tenis de forma autónoma.
