Negligible difference for high pitched noise but definitely subdued an echo from a fish tank filter. Absolute pig to stick, I used contact adhesive and it just fell off immediately so I used hard as nails in the end.

When these 1st arrive you may think they won't work as they are too thin but read the instructions carefully on how to effectively fluff these up (2 options to choose from) and then you will be amazed at how much they do expand.Good price for what you get, what i will say in my house my children have a games room for all their pc games etc and it does get noisy when there on their headphones or choosing not to use them. These won't silence the noise but they certainly help dull the noise to a acceptable level (much better than it was before).You do need to supply your own glue/backing pads to stick these to the wall which is a easy job.once in place thye do actually look quite good, adding to the ambience of the room.

These are quite good for muffling the sound but you would need to completely cover a room to see much difference. I also didn’t find it necessary to sell them. I just left them for 24 hours for them to grow to their proper size after they were vacuumed packed.

These are perfect to add to any home office or any similarly used room to really remove a bunch of echo and improve the acoustics of the room.Cheap enough to be pretty much a no brainer while still being good enough to work effectively. Super easy to mount, even if they dont look the best on the walls

There are quite a few negative reviews on these but I decided to try them anyway and I'm very glad I did. I do not know what caused other people's experiences or what their expectations were but these were perfect for me.I live in a manufactured home and the central heat/air fan intake blower is located in a metal lined hole in the wall in the laundry room with the rest of the units workings. It is extremely loud. Add to that any laundry running and it was unbearable. So I decided to try lining the walls with this foam. I got the black with adhesive backs first. The adhesive stuck great, almost to great for some of the tight spaces, it was exactly the right thickness to prevent touching any workings, and it toned the noise down dramatically. For that first set I let them sit for 24 hours on my table in a stack on their ends. They all fluffed right out to be uniform in that time.I was so impressed I decided to line the walls in the laundry room with the tiles. This time I got the grey and black without adhesive. I put them in the dryer on steam refresh. They all perked up in ten minutes and are all uniform in thickness. You can barely tell anything is happening in the laundry room now and I can have my TV at a normal volume. Best thing ever!

Perfect for my gaming setup ❤️ But *CAUTION**
I had an ugly workbench wall to cover up in my room from the people that used to have this house (a workstation in the bedroom? Idk what they were thinking) but these made the space look so much better. Good quality.**Be careful when putting these up with your bare hands. They broke my hands out and made them very itchy. Made of microfibers maybe?**
